I rattle canned them the same time I did my rifle. I used the brownells aluma Hyde II in coyote color. It matched pretty well with the FDE.

With all these exotic rimfires, I'm kinda hesitant to put up my simple .22 carbine.
Anyway, here goes:

and
http://i401.photobucket.com/albums/pp98/NCchris/IMG_1029Medium-1.jpg
Upper started out with a used 16" Ballistic Advantage pencil barrel (thanks Heavy Duty)
NoDak smooth side A1 upper
CMMG SS Bolt
CMMG Dedicated Poly Charge Handle
MOE Hanguard
Lower is a Doublestar with LPK
Timney 3# Trigger
Moe Furniture
Assorted Black Dog Magazines
This is one of my most favorite guns, shoot indoors, take it to the range outside. It's light, accurate and just fun to shoot!

I'm really digging that Tungsten color. I bet it would be sharp with Magpuls new gray furniture.

Its not 100% yet but it is VERY close. Just want to add the top rail to give it the monolithic rail look.

Specs:
Spikes form 1 lower
Nordic Components Retractable AR22 stock
Mix of Stag and LWRCI lower parts kit
Ergo Grip
LWRCI Trigger Guard
FN M16 upper
CMMG stainless. .22lr Kit with dedicated collar
Redtazdog Cut and threaded 4.5" CMMG barrel
VTAC JP enterprises modular carbine length handguard
SilencerCo Sparrow SS
EOFAKE

Less than $.25 per magdump goodness. So far it has ran 100% through a couple mag dumps in the back yard. Outside of the barrel and the handguard it was 100% built by me.

Nice blaster! Nordic has a pretty unique stock. Do you mind not having a cheek weld, I thought about that stock too but wasn't sure how I would feel about no cheek weld?

Pffft, I find the simplicity of yours to be its most attractive characteristic.  Has it ever had anything other than MOE furniture on it?  Like M4 handguards, an N/1 stock and an A1 or A2 grip on it?  I'd love to see a pic of it if so.

Yes, still have to have 10 round mags. The laws pertaining to pistol grips, flash hiders, and forward pistol grips do not apply to rimfire. You don't need a bullet button unless the same lower shares a 5.56 upper. You can even have a folding stock.

Thanks for your comment. This is the only way it has ever been. The MOE furniture was quick and easy and it works good. It never sees less than at least one bulk box of ammo per range trip.

Here is my new build,
CMMG 6.5" pistol barrel, CMMG black conversion w/ SS collar, Model 1 Sales pistol receiver plug, Areo lower w/ CMMG parts kit,  YHM upper, YHM pistol 4 rail ,
Cut down Spikes CAR-1 fake suppressor, I had to cut about 2 1/2 inch's off the back to get it to fit the barrel due to the barrel tapers as it comes out of the receiver

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

My other build CMMG complete upper with YHM Spector lenght Diamound rails and Spikes SD-1 fake suppressor, Del-ton lower, CMMG LPK,

Thanks Wyldman.  The can is a "hushpower", locally made etc etc.  Yeah, I'll probably go down that route.  As for NFA laws, nowhere as near as bad.  Anyone can walk into a gun store/order a suppressor online and as long as the overall length of the rifle is more than 30" you are good to go, no additional paper work etc.  To be honest I'd rather deal with NFA laws than ITAR as it's a pain to get anything out of the US and the paperwork takes just as long...for a handguard not some cool NFA item :(

TACCOM 22 upper
Midwest Industries 15" SS Gen 2 handguard
Addax Tactical extended compensator
Plum Crazy Lower
Magpul UBR
Magpu MBUS

When I got this upper from TACCOM, the M.I. handguard and TACCOM's DPMS low pro receiver was the biggest surprise.
The diameter of the receiver's curve lines up precisely with the handguard's diameter:

Depends on what's your perspective on back heavy. I found that the balance is somewhere between the trigger and the rear side of the magwell.

This should help you visualize:

Dang. This makes me reconsider getting a ubr for my build. People were trying to talk me out of getting one saying it would be much too "back heavy". After seeing your picture I beg to differ.

I will be running a 13.5" noveske rail with a 16" cmmg m4 profile barrel/aac 51t blackout flash hider. Should be enough weight up front shouldn't it?
