Well long story short, I decided instead to sell my spare lower (for a nice chunk of change) and cannibalize of one my 5.56 rifles. 5.56 before- http://i47.tinypic.com/2qnxzs7.jpg .22 after- http://i50.tinypic.com/n1aq7t.jpg A package from taccom got here today and I literally just put this together (also my first complete solo AR assembly at home). I'm also glad I only painted the upper instead of the whole thing- I used an old can of tan krylon I had I the garage and I don't like it as is but I'm too tired to redo it right now. anyway, specs are: 16" taccom .22 m4 profile barrel taccom reliability kit cmmg ss bravo bcg 11" vtac rail trijicon rm06 rmr on a kz mount lwrc trigger nice rifle, get a can of alumahyde 2 coyote to get close to that fde |

The way the rear aperature is that would actually not be reversed as the concave portion is facing the rear when installed like that. It is my understanding that the concave portion is supposed to face your eye. Edited to add I just saw a video with them oriented the other way so I am not sure. I always thought the concave portion of the aperature faced your eye. |

$69 ATI Omni poly lower. $299 Chiappa Poly upper. 1/16 twist 2 mags $89 RRA LPK/Houge grip $60 Magpul MOE stock $29 UTG buffer tube $45 Nikon P223 rings $65 CenterPoint Walmart scope So far I am not impressed, but then I bought up whatever I could at reasonable pricing and availability during "The Crazy" It shoots but it will take some more gunsmithing to be reliable. The Chiappa upper is terrible. Very cheaply made. It is pretty darn accurate though considering the only quality parts are the LPK and the stock. The other gun is my Spikes lower/.223/5.56PSA upper. http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm160/indyram4u/2B1B1D5E-5217-4246-95AF-55403DE6CE45-1788-0000011DE3A5144E_zpse7c005a0.jpg http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm160/indyram4u/E27FA627-6D6A-4104-9D91-68B0066F1232-1788-0000011DEBD23DD5_zpsa5178530.jpg |

I will say though that your carry handle is one notch too far back on the receiver... the front should line up with the end of the receiver. but if you did that on purpose, then disregard. |
