You may think its stupid to put a scope and bipod on a 4.5" barreled .22, but believe me, this thing is a tack driver.

Looks great.  Well done.  Mine is very similar except for the G5-22.  I too used a spikes upper and lower and CMMG.

Nice. I like the folding stock. I would have gone with one of those if I wasn't also using this lower on my 5.56 upper too.

You need to upload your pics to a host sight like imageshack, and them link to those using the insert pic button in the post reply window.

Here is the official picture of my new 100 yd offhand plinker:

http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b615/z80rr0/plinker1_zpsb3f5aa26.jpg

It is my "semi-space gun" design. The upper was built by Compass Lake Engineering to my request.  20" Douglas match barrel, CLE modified M261 bolt, .040 hooded rear aperture in a detachable carry handle for the AR look and a Lyman 20 MJT globe sight atop the CLE space gun sight mount.  The CLE free floating tube is shown fitted with their Space Gun Hand Rest. The lower is from Barnes Precision Machine just down the road from me in Apex, NC.  The lower is fitted with a Timney 3# single stage trigger pack and the buttstock storage chamber filled with #9 shot for a total weight of 12 pounds. The balance is just about perfect.  I need to shim the front sight a little to get the point of impact where I want it.  I will then give it a good workout.

I found inspiration in this thread about 8 months ago and finally received my first Form 1 a few days ago.

http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/s595/rckshrk/UnionPark-20130213-00194_zpsfd648217.jpg

Specs:
M&P15-22 5.5"
B5 SOPMOD
Magpul Front and Rear Gen II sights
Magpul AGF II
Low Profile Rail Covers
Millet  DMS-1 1-4x scope w/ SWFA SSALT mount
SWR Spectre II

I was planning to mount a soon to be spare Eotech XPS on her to mimic one of my other SBR setups but I have been pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed by the currently mounted Millet 1-4x scope.  This gun is a blast to shoot and is easily my favorite plinker.

My .22 carbine with Aimpoint red-dot, 45º offset iron-sights (set up for LH shooter), green laser and Streamlight HP.  CMMG Alpha conversion with Taccom Reliability Kit.  DPMS lower with Jard 1.5# trigger and SlideFire bumpstock.

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh243/shgrier/Arms/DPMS_AR-22.jpg

Even at the outrageous prices for .22's these days, this is a fun, economical sub to shoot.  Gets everyone a giggling.  When the suppressor comes in later this year (If Biden doesn't bugger things up too badly), it'll be a real hoot!

Cheers!

Latest host for my RDIAS.  I've had the pieces since before the panic, but only recently assembled them into a configuration I finally liked for a small and light 22.

Specs:
- Rguns lower that I found locally in mid-December.  It's SP1 spec (thus low shelf and full RDIAS support) and is even auto marked
- Ranier Arms slick side upper
- CMMG stainless 22 kit w/ their "anti-jam" charging handle
- CMMG dedicated 22 barrel cut to 4.5" by ADCO
- Troy TRX Extreme Carbine length handguard
- Silencerco Sparrow SS suppressor
- Primary Arms MD-08 micro dot
- Stock is a light (plastic?) model that came off my '80s Colt 6450 rifle which was Magpul'd.  Same for the A2 pistol grip
- Ergo Gapper - best freakin' addon ever, except maybe for the beard-saving piece of electrical tape on the top of the stock.
- TACCOM3G pressure plug
- BDM Xform magazines

Yessir that's the better mag adapter from boonie packer. Bolt holds open as advertised. Works well. And it's an enhanced sd trigger. Have one on both ar's. Wanted to keep it consistent between the two.
