It did not have the S in the part number. I contacted Geissele about it and they just said sometimes they change things like that during production. It's my guess that they dropped the S because the S denoted it was the urgi charging handle in DDC, and I'm guessing they will only be releasing them in DDC from here on out, so no point in adding the S, although the packaging still had the S on it. It is still the official urgi charging handle though and it will still have the nsn roll marks and everything on it. |

They dropped the "S" but it's the same product otherwise. The "S" just designated it was DDC versus "B" for black. "05-664" is still the SKU for the NSN ACH.

I just got off the phone with Nightforce - asked about the .mil ATACRs being released to the commercial market.
He said for himself alone, he gets between 50 - 70 requests per month for that and that ultimately it's a marketing decision if that happens or not. He basically said no plans, but it's not impossible that wouldn't ever happen. I guess we have to keep bugging them. |

FYI is you got a Daniel Defense in stock notification today on barrels, save yourself some trouble and DO NOT order. I ordered after receiving today's notification, and it's already been cancelled due to "the computer system erroneously added inventory to the system that does not exist."
Barrels w/ pinned gas block were still showing in stock after I was cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous. |

So I’ve gone through pages looking for the answers...sorry.
Are their “correct” optics? I want to use my razor for this build. It’s currently in an ADM recon mount. Is there a specific mount needed? I feel like I’m seeing a different variety. Also, what about correct accessories? Such as a forward grip? Again, seems like a big variety. And aside from the pistol grips and stocks listed on page one, what else is kosher? It seems like their is less “standard” parts, when compared to say something like a block 1 build—where you have to have a specific optic in a specific mount, have this flashlight, or that front grip. |
