Not that I've observed on the range, however I've never been issued one and all mine were Block IIs at the time so I personally haven't run one hard.

If you want to, I think the very low profile of the DIR-ONE can be a make-do. But if you insist, I won't be in your way for an N-GAL.

What are my clone appropriate options for a 34mm 1.93" mount ?

Still waiting on a DD barrel, and trying to tie up loose ends.

Actually found a FDE NF 1.93 in the EE last night. Had 2 SF4P's delivered today and barrel should be here this week.

I'll have to use a black ATACR for a while, unless someone wants to trade an FDE.

Probably not 100% clone worthy (and true to form) but love it (MOST parts of it I have seen around on URG-i's, just not all in the same place)
ETA this is a 10.3

Post your 100% correct clone to school all of us. Remember it also needs the 3rd pinhole to be clone correct.

If you’re being pedantic, it would need to have a Colt government contract lower receiver with the proper FCG pocket to be 100% correct, not just a 3rd pin.

At that point, it's no longer a clone and is an actual M4A1.

3rd pin argument is a cop-out

3rd pin kinda implies having a m16 pocket that accepts the fa parts as well...

Also a cop-out to savage some dude's urgi build because it doesn't have all the exact parts issued from the armory, when you yourself cannot replicate it perfectly.

Never said anything about posting obviously incorrect clones, but being "pedantic" because a few springs and pins might not be correct is a little bit dumb. Almost everything that guy has on his 10.3 clone has been seen fielded. I have a "clone correct" urgi as well (minus a real m4 lower).... with a nsn marked g rail, charging handle, a 14.5 dd barrel with pinned lopro gas block, SF 4 prong and socom can, cage code colt upper and BCG. But .... I guess I'm disqualified from being clone correct because I have a NX8 instead of an atacr and a raid xe instead of an NGAL. oh well I tried.

I don't want to be a Blaaaakke (male version of Karen) who ruins the fun. Never. But I have to sound off.

How far are you willing to be a Blue Falcon and ruin everyone's day over a minor detail? Why is it that a magazine button is going to be your concern, or anyone else?

I know, I'm not one to speak, especially because my upper is a G-near-clone. But still... People, it's never (as of yet) an exact clone. Even then, there are discrepancies that makes it never truly a clone. We can only do so much.

Give ourselves a touch of kindness, people. Have a heart.

I doubt his comment was meant to be taken so seriously. Came across as good ribbing to me.

Also, I assumed he was talking about the mag catch; not the button. If there's some detail I'm missing on the mag release button let me know.

I'm actually boiling over the Blue Falcon that took a jab (pun intended) at the lad with the SBR. Have fun is what we do, I firmly understand, but at the point that Falcon was going for, I'm not having it.

Still, though.

Arms Unlimited has 3-Position Ambi-safety advertised but the part number is for the semi. Can anyone clear this up? What I received looks like the FA Safety, just not sure if that's a mishap on their page or are they missing something.

Coyote Brown Gen1's are contract overruns, so yes. Mark Keller made sure "extras" were made for the clone community.

Black B5's have been documented. Still no such proof of Coyotes ever being issued. As the saying goes, "pics or it didn't happen."

He didn't, but that's usually inferred when people reference "Coyote" SOPMODs. LMT simply labels theirs as "Tan." The B5s are also the only ones commercially available at present leading to more frequent questions about their suitability.

I'd love to be shown wrong about them. Though so far, still waiting.
