 Took the 11.something mini out today and did everything from 5 yard snap shooting to barricade work to 500 yards from prone. The thick cross hairs on the P4xi are an issue at that range if you're trying to be ultra precise, but "combat accurate" hits were easy work. Minis are remarkably capable rifles. |

Finally got the Mini NSW Recce out for a zeroing session over Memorial Day. I like this little 11.3" Wilson barrel. It seems promising. I didn't get to stretch it out, but I hope to in the near future.

 Finally found a scope I like looking through. Even if it is a bit of a pig on a 5.5 pound bare rifle. 14.5 Gunner barrel with integrated flash hider so I squeak by on a technicality for "mini".  Attached File |

What did the barrel length end up being? 4 is 1 right? Yeah... the Mid Ras ended up getting the boot to help fund another 300blk clone. It's safe to say the Long Ras mini will be in the stable for a while. Adco chopped the barrel to 13.1. If I were to do it over again; I'd cut the barrel to 13 even. |

Can anyone tell me their velocities on a 12.5” with Mk262 or any 75/77 grain load?
I’ve got a 12.5 Triarc that should be here tomorrow and will be fed IMI 77 grain for its primary round. |

I keep reading ~2850 @ 20”, ~2650 @ 16”. I was assuming I’d be ~2450 @ 12.5” so 2550 would be nice. |

E-forms tend to come back in a month +/- but sometimes people get the short end of the stick and are stuck in "pending research" purgatory. If you're filing a lower from a known quantity, IE the website recognizes the mfg and autopopulates it, you'll likely be OK. |

 I haven't been on here in a while and realized I've gone through a few iterations of how I wanted my mini recce set up. Top rifle is mine, bottom is my buddies (he also has a Sandman S in jail). Top (Mine): Colt Upper BCM Lower MK16 10.5 Rail DD 11.5 CHF Barrel Vortex Razor HD Gen II-E Badger Ordnance 1.93 Mount Dead Air Sandman S Surefire M600 Bottom (Friend): SOLGW 13.7 Complete Upper Radian ADAC Lower NF ATACR 1-8 Scalarworks Mount Modlite PLHv2 I need a back-up optic in the future like an offset RMR or I've even thought about buying a DBAL for the future NODS (one day...lol). So far she's been solid out to 200 easy in some recent 2 Gun Action Challenge events and is now my go-to do it all rifle! |

All that's cooled off now so I found a WC 11.3 on optics planet and built another. I got that mount for $250! It was previously rattle canned but still a great deal! This one is incredibly balanced with the 17oz optic and 5ish oz mount. Going to tune the Superlative Arms AGB tomorrow morning...Turbo K too gassy. |
