Digging your mini, how much does it weight? You'll love the ACT too. Better pics of the paint. I got four cans of rattle but still haven't brought myself to paint mine

Thanks man! Its about 7lb 8ozs unloaded, the NF is 1lb 4oz of that. And I do love the ACT, its not the first I've owned, its an amazing trigger for the price.

And just paint the dang thing, the worst thing that can happen is you need to buy a can of Brakekleen. Ask me how I know

Put this together recently and shot it for the first time yesterday. It ran really well with a Micro MOA gas block.

Are you using the Govnah or just their standard lo-pro? I'm really considering spending the money to put a Govnah on my 300 that I run suppressed/unsuppressed with supers and subs and I'm looking for some more feedback. Nice build!

Using the Govnah. It worked really well suppressed and unsuppressed. I plan on using on every future suppressed build. Also, their customer service is awesome.

I really need to get a couple Govnahs.  I am putting a Seekins adj on a couple, because I have been sitting on them for a long time.  I really like the idea, and all the positive feedback on the Govnah.  I will put them on 2 Noveske barreled uppers

You have any reports to share about running the Seekins? I slowly building another mini, and trying to save $$$, I love my SLR Sentry 7, but I don't want to dish out the extra dough.

I got a buddy I train with that just put a Govnah on last weekend, and he put a 500rd box through it w/o any problems at all. I showed up to the range late and only saw the last mag go through his rifle (CQBR clone), cycled great from what I saw. I have one of their 13.7" barrels made for Weapon Outfitters, and it exceeded my expectations. Very happy with their products, and buying another barrel from them for this other mini I'm putting together. If that helps

Thanks to the folks at Geissele, I got my barrel nut wrench and was able to swap that handguard.

Can't wait to shoot it.  13.7 midlength,  It can't cycle more than 5 without a short stroke, right?  I read it here.

I own several different 5.56 cans, and have used all of the "it" cans available as well.

I can tell you that none of them yield a 223/5.56 hearing safe. From there, I can also tell you that you won't notice much of a difference between say a Mini 4 or an M4-2000 - or a SureFire SOCOM or a SilencerCo Saker.

What you will tell a difference with is how damn short and light the Mini 4 is. Plus, those AAC cans and their baffles are tanks.

Yeah, SureFire also offers a mini can, but it's a bit louder and heavier, and adds more overall length than the Mini 4. I'd also say that the AAC has stronger baffles as well, but that area could at least be up for debate - those other areas are not, however.

I already have three Mini 4s, and I'm currently on the lookout for a deal on a fourth. By far my favorite 5.56 can.

If $800 includes the tax stamp, then YHM might be what you need to look at.  I have been pleased with mine and the price is right.
