Not gonna lie I am blown away by this CAT Alleycat. Downside is I need to tear the upper down to replace the suppressed-only BRT gas tube. The can is so low backpressure that it just barely cycles. Need a bit more gas, thinking .063-.065 outta work. |

This gun has been in the works for roughly 2.5 years, and maybe a little longer. Several years ago, I'd been given the optic from a dear friend of mine. It is a Meopta 1-4 and has a center dot only, and is 2nd focal plane. I started piece-meal acquiring parts for this machine after getting my hands on this BCM QRF. This was in March of 2022. Not long after, I spoke to my friend Keith who owns Accurate Armory and bought an upper and lower set from him and asked him to cerakote them in Magpul FDE. The build took an unexpected turn when I stumbled upon the NF 0MOA unimount at another friend's shop, and I purchased it knowing it would be a perfect fit for this gun. The pieces came together slowly but surely, and eventually I brought the upper to a friend of mine who does pin-welds. Attached File Attached File The 14.7" BA barrel and NT-4 compensator PN: 93048 work perfectly for this application. Once that was completed, I slapped everything together, and I am happy with the result. I haven't taken it to the range yet, because my free time is at a premium right now. I hope it is a fun shooter. |

I did a few that I bedded with Loctite, but I didn't see a difference between that and greasing the barrel extension. Truing the face of the receiver has worked really well in my experience. I've seen that take two guns from 2-3 MOA to 1.2-1.5 MOA with AAC 77 grain. I did it to my other guns and saw a marked improvement in group sizes. |

It's not like that scope is super heavy. |

I love the x24 aesthetically but struggle to see it as a better fit than a Razor or NX8 based on what I'm doing with this upper. |

BHA 77gr red box Attached File BLA 75gr hornady shell shocks Attached File Attached File Q are a bunch of fags... but I have to give credit where it's due-that rail is very, very well designed. I wish q would release the stripped upper to go along with it since it's cut out for the anti-rotation tabs. The rail itself is tapered and thicker at the rear to help prevent torque shift on lasers and such. It also moves the center of gravity further rearward. Pairs superbly with the criterion core. My 11.5 is a criterion hybrid with a bcm mcmr and only a red dot/light/can. Everybody who's shot them side by side swears the 12.5 is lighter which is a lie since all the weight is centered further rearward. Also more uninspired pics for you Attached File |

Black hills is around .8 The badlands was shot off a front bag only so it may be a little tighter if I used a rear bag too. The black arc shell shock 77's chrono'ed faster than the badlands, but was pretty wild with the es and sd and not worth the 1.50 or whatever it was per round.
