Nice. I haven't gotten around to chrono'ing any of it yet. At the distances I shoot at, the generic data on the box is close enough.

@hoody2shoez is that c1 mount 1.7? How do you like the height of the rmr? I have a 1.7 and I like it for the 1-6 that is in it but want to add an rmr on top. I think it puts it around 3.25 or so. I cant remember off the top of my head.

I'm fine with it. I use a chin weld for it just fine. My atacr is my primary 1x solution as is so I don't really worry much about it. Ymmv

I can do about 1.3 for 5 rounds with the badlands. Black hills is around .8

The badlands was shot off a front bag only so it may be a little tighter if I used a rear bag too.

The black arc shell shock 77's chrono'ed faster than the badlands, but was pretty wild with the es and sd and not worth the 1.50 or whatever it was per round.

Black hills 77 $1.30 /rnd
Badlands 75 $.95 /rnd

Appreciate it! I'm sitting on a pile of BH 77 TMK. Might have to give the Badlands and Blark Arc stuff a try, especially now that Badlands has 70 gr Barnes loads.

Went to go zero this new setup today. These WC barrels are great. Very accurate even in the first 100 rounds. Velocity was a bit up and down but hopefully after the next range trip the barrel will have a nice coat on it and velocity will tighten up.

Gonna have to go custom if going for a flush fit.

@subpar

Yep.  No plug and play way to do it.

Easiest way to do it is grab a tapered gas block from Alleghany Arms, a midlength barrel of your choosing and send it off to ADCO or Alleghany to be cut.

The final length is approximately 13.25” to get the flush fit look.

At some point I want to do a medium FF RAS with an AEM3.  The AEM5 is just kind of long for the setup.  Rothperson has one with an AEM3.  It’s tits.

Seems like one hell of a solid scope for $300

I'll eventually swap it out for an LPVO though, and slap the arken on a bolt gun

Yeah, this one took a while. I kept missing out on In-Stock notifications for the KAC FF RAS, so I said screw it and went the RIS III route, as I hadn't seen that combo yet.

Absolutely loving this setup. The PST2 is so good for its price. I'll most likely put a DMX NX8 on it soon but man is the PST2 a good bargain.

Swapping the 11.3" WC barrel for the custom cut 11.1" Larue Stealth that started this whole Medium RAS mini craze.

Going to get the cob up as flush as possible while still being able to activate the locking ring.

Hoping to get consistent out to 600m. Last trip I got a few hits at 600m with that barrel but I was limited by the P3TR reticle.

Got the barrels swapped out. Love that WC but the profile just wasn't sitting well with me for something I want to get pretty hot. Plus the custom cut Larue is about 1/10" shorter so it closed up the gap a little more.

I really wish Geiselle didn't do some weird proprietary brake during this run - need to drill out the P&W and throw on a Surefire but - been having fun with this build - also enjoying the Sector Optics G1T3 setup ( LPVO has a thermal hud screen in the lense )

My check rod looks that way too if I have the rifle horizontal.  Between the rod being slightly smaller than the bore, the barrel being so short, and the suppressor so long, it might be adding up to make it look worse than it really is.  I always check it with the rifle vertical.  Just a suggestion.

Edit - Not a suggestion really, since that is the proper way to check.  Also, the rod is deflecting slightly due to it's own weight.  I'd put money on that job being done perfectly.

Negative ghost rider, though I do wish you were right. The mount is visibly off the second you start to thread it on, it's pretty bad tbh. I can orient the upper and rod however I'd like and it remains way off. Its also obviously off to the naked eye. John was very professional about it so we're good, honest mistakes happen.

In the meantime I put an 11" Hanson in as a placeholder. Maiden voyage tomorrow hopefully.

Don't slam a 16oz Bang energy drink on the drive to the range.

The AAC 77gr OTM did okay. I want to try some Black Hills and FGMM in different grains and projectiles.
Also get a cover for the can... The mirage got pretty wicked.
For the most part, its a shooter... Me on that caffeine, not so much. Lmao
Left target I touched that "flyer" off when I was sittin on the 2nd stage and adjusted my grip... Oops.
The 75gr Hornady was their Frontier 5.56 75gr BTHP Match stuff. Meh

No clue what the group sizes are. 🤷🏼‍♂️

ETA...
With and without flyer... Forgot I got popped a 6th shot on target cause the flyer pissed me off.
