I say the same thing but then there's a part of me that will still shell out for a Mk4 LR/T

Same. I view it very similar to restoring old muscle cars and keeping them all original.

I wonder if Leupold has plans to do the same with their legacy Mark 4 line. I'm sure they'd sell just a quickly. Seems now is the time considering how many companies are cashing in on it.

Yes

Hopefully so. I guess asking around is in order.

I thought the ts30A2's were simply NOS from the USMC M38 program. Thought that was the last of them. But yeah, I could see them cash in on that.

Hey all, if y'all need me I'll be on insta as tacitblue83, HaveBlue83 as a backup, and FB as Brinton Evans. I'm no longer a paying member here, and the EE is completely jacked to the point I can't even list or buy anything anymore. I have no reason to be on here daily like I was. I don't want to miss anyone so just find me on Facebook or insta. If u can't I'll check here and there for a PM periodically.
The EE is dead. long live the old EE. |

It's so much easier to search for things now without an hour of scrolling through page after page hoping what your looking for is in there. Put it in list view. Hit filter. Then type in what you're looking for in the keyword. The image hosting is so much better as well. No more Imgur uploads for sale stuff. The messaging thing is kinda annoying but it does make it easier once you get the hang of it. |

Does anyone have the one picture with the 112633 on a mod1. Either it was the 112633 or a slabside 2.5-8x36mm.

Would appear it has the current production turrets as well given the larger bolder white lettering on them too. After replacing the tube, turrets, and illumination housing there’s not much of the original left at that point. But I’d bet you’re right about it being a refurb. Was the Mod 1 ever issued or seen out in the wild with a CTR stock, or have they only been issued with the Sopmod or A1 stocks? If they have, does anyone have any pictures they could share?

This is where I’m at. Why build a near-clone, when the big change you’re looking to do doesn’t seem to add much benefit beyond paying for machining (or spending your time to do it) and getting ridiculed in this thread How much weight are you actually taking off the gun with dimples? She’s chunky either way, so skip the dimples, hit the gym one more time per week, and build an awesome Mk 12 and post pics here. Just my .02 ETA: pic thread Attached File |

It would be awesome if done properly by Nefarious Arms. I had a Noveske Afghan 14.5 inch barrel dimpled. It's hidden under the handguard and no one really sees it unless I point it out or they're inspecting the AR. Edit: To answer your question: do what you want. There will be a few that don't like it, but a lot of people will think it's cool. |
