I bought a AEM5 from HCS, paid back in early Dec. I assume the F3 was submitted at this time as well, still haven't received shipping notice from them. I saw back in this thread some peoples had shipped to their dealers already, if yours shipped could you either post of IM about how long it took. It just seems way to long now, my dealer already has in hand another suppressor I bought the week before Christmas.

You guys also need to keep in mind shipping issues related to all the winter weather and exactly how far they're traveling. Plus nothing ran yesterday due to Presidents' Day. I remember feeling like something was up and just before I dropped Kevin a line, my dealer emailed me to let me know it showed up. Hang in there, y'all.

It's been stated a few times already, but I'll reiterate the message that I was one of the first to get on the backordered list from AE. Form 3 on the AEM5 went through about three weeks ago. These things take time and patience, unfortunately. Just sit tight

Ill be the bad guy, and say that if for some magical reason your dealer just cant get you an AEM5, and there is literally nobody else in the state that can.... Griffin's SPR can is your closest bet. It is similar to the AAC SPR/M4 And the Surefire 556AR. |

Also, what's with the stupid fake laser noises they've been adding to their videos when someone's shooting suppressed. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a64/anjiaoshi/lazer-mog.jpg I agree - the hollywood style suppressed sound effects are kind of ridiculous - you expect it at the movies and on tv, but not from a youtube channel run by Larry Vickers. Oddly enough (and unlike just about every other instance in hollywood) the suppressor sounds in Zero Dark Thirty were actually pretty damn accurate. |
