Hey anyone have Ron at Allen Engineering's email address? Their website is down and I don't do faceblock. (Opsec ;) I need to ask him for a part. Feel free to IM me if you don't want to post here. Would be greatly appreciated.
I guess I can ask here too. Anyone know where I can get a proper sized set screw for the ops collar? I got a SWEET long collar from CD but the set screw I had here is slightly too large

You can pick up a drill/tap combo cheap at Lowes, Home Depot etc. |

I just took the collar to various hardware parts stores to fit set screws. I think I found the set screw I needed at a True Value store. Take the collar and go shopping. |

I got an email back from Ron A. "Most hardware stores will carry it. 6-32 x 1/8" long. Takes a 1/16 Allen wrench. Usually around fifteen cents each or so. Let me know if you have problems finding it." What a good dude. |

Not the threads but the socket area where the allen goes. I ended up just drilling and tapping for a larger set screw on the advice of some other members here. |

Question about paint and suppressors.
My AEM5 is still on a F4. When we go hunting, my buddy mounts his AEM5 on my Mk12, and we rotate on who's on Mk12, and who's on the 12ga. I've noticed that my muzzle device shows the paint kind of "burning" if you will and darkening in color. His can is cerakoted, but I will be rattle canning mine like an Army of Juan. Question being, will my can eventually turn that paint a baked color like the muzzle device?

I prefer "taupe" thank you Yeah, straight Skilcraft is super bright. It's identical to 686A tan (vehicle paint), so I'm sure it's great over "there," but definately pretty bright for most use here in God's Country. Solid Skilcraft (makes a great base coat though):
