I like the dark with great lighting. Edit: Oh yeah, if ya want to go TiN BCG and be all "blingy" but still a good unit that should serve well, get the one I got for $112. If they're still out there.. I haven't tried mine yet, but it should work great. And clean up SUPER easy when suppressed. |

I'd much rather it be a different shade, but I can live with it for the sake it'll be an easy clean. And it was $112 shipped. The specs on it are truly on point, that's more important to me. Once that Q Cherry Bomb gets shot suppressed, it'll be a nice shade of Henry Ford's favorite color, black.
I'd like to try one of the new PA 3x Mirco prisms at some point, the mega thread has nothing but good to say about them. Stick looks sweet my man! |

View Quote I highly recommend the PA microprisms (but not the full size). I even prefer them to the ACOG. It’s like a modern Corvette Z06 versus a Ferrari Testarossa. The Ferrari is way more iconic, still fast, and has better build quality, but the Z06 is going to beat the brakes off of it when it comes to what matters most. |

View Quote Interested to see the 3.0. Arisaka doesn’t Tano currently, but their clear inline mount is pretty nice. The grip isn’t overly wide, I just find myself leaning towards thinner grips. I’ll give it a run this weekend and I’m sure it will grow on me. |

I've yet to see anything like this. I kinda dig a "fatter" grip. The Anarchy Outdoors Penguin grips are STUPID fat, but I still like them. So I usually don't post, just research and build a little here and there. However after following this thread and with the 50 shades/anodized growing on me I had to jump on Aero's sale they had a little while back. Everything was purchased at the same time(Kodiak Brown), was hoping to get some different shades/finishes but the uppers and lowers are spot on. M4 and bigger brother M5. I'm not sure exactly what builds I'm wanting to do, but will use different ideas and things from some of your builds from this thread. You guys have built some sexy guns in this thread. I'll post some pictures when I get them done, but it will be awhile as I'm currently working on a couple .300 sbr/pistols builds. I tried to get some different lighting pictures and different angles(garage and kitchen island) so you could see the finish on them, the rails kinda look different in the photos but they are really close to the upper/lowers.

Got the Rein in. Definitely a lot different tano than my OWL. Waiting for the Arisaka mount to come because Cloud is living in 2004 and thinks people still use Picatinny.
On a side note, I had a spare 18650 that’s been in my bugout bag for at least 14 months now. Reads at 3.66 volts. Pleasantly surprised since the internet told me rechargeable batteries don’t hold a charge long term. |

Multiple others here have had the same experience with no success despite multiple tries with their customer service. I think I’m just going to return it unless their customer service somehow pulls off a miracle. They don’t appear to function test their lights before sending them out so I have little faith in them. In other failure news, my Magpul ejection port cover is garbage too. The spring isn’t even strong enough to set the tab in its resting spot uninstalled never the less open the door. Reached out to Magpul with no response so chalk another one up to bad luck. Might try the Strike Industries since Magpul seems to have knocked them off anyway but I’m not happy about it. |

And here I was going to go with some Magpul poly port doors. Hmm, I guess I'll stick with my Strike Industries, they work great.

View Quote To be fair I couldn’t find anyone else with the issue when I searched. Then again when I had the dreaded follower stick on my first generation 308 PMAG’s they told me to lube the inside liberally before every range trip instead of making it right. ETA: The Magpul port cover is a compatibility issue with the M4E1. I found it was rubbing on the left side and shaved it down with a knife a little bit. I’d recommend the Strike if it works as the modification required for the Magpul is visible. The Magpul is still crazy weak spring tension. I have no doubt it’s going to flop around like crazy when firing. |

I’ve seen a lot of pictures floating around and they’re much more FDE in color than the HDX DRT. I wonder if that’s because of the blasting required after machining or if they changed their dye formula. |
