I haven't posted in a long time and cant get photobucket to work.

Total fail.

If you read the image from Photobucket it tells you why. Basically, they want money now. You  (everyone) should delete your photobucket account, get Flickr or Imgur, and start using them.
I personally use Imgur: the mobile app is easy for uploads, and they automatically strip metadata out.

If you've got Firefox or Chrome, you can install an extension called "Photobucket Fix" and it gets around their bs. Fuck them and their shenanigans.

Just a friendly FYI...   Eustis Gun Club rifle range is in meters, not yards.   I've not ranged the 100 specifically, but I have ranged the 200m boards (you had a pic earlier) at 219yards verifying the 200 meter line.  Was a member there two years ago, just didn't get out there enough to keep the membership.

I took all of my shit and deleted my account, but it's nice for old posts where otherwise you might lose valuable info.

Matt's rifle is getting quite a lot of love recently, i spoke to him about the rails rigidity and ability to keep the laser zero'd. He said it kept zero after bungee'ing down the turret many times, throughout his time in the desert. He did mention that if he could do it over again, he would have used a urx4 instead.

It should be noted it's designed for the SR25 but it'll obviously work with the AR. Aesthetics and all that.

I think he means in the turret of a truck, where they get the shit beat out of them.

Pretty neat to see some ALG Defense in the wild. I have an EMR V0E on my 18 inch upper and only paid $40 for it on BF. URX4 is a small step up in terms of durability... but the URX4 is NOT $40. Matt's rifle would be a neat one to clone.

Had my Recce at the 500 yard range this weekend.  Not a clone but it follows the concept of capable to make precision hits at long range and able to work close range also.   Istated at 300 yards and worked out to 500 using my ballistic calculator. At 500 I was making hits consistently thought I need to work on my wind calls.

Ive poste this rifle here before but here is a quick run down

Ammo used Magtech 5.56 77gr otm (mk262 clone)
Aero Precision M4E1 5.56 16nch
Larue MBT
Bushnell Engage 2.5-10x

Getting ready to do a Recce build once I get back. Im looking for a 16 inch 1/8 .223 wylde barrel thats fluted. Any suggestions? Ballistic advantage seems to be one I found. Im considering a BCM SS410 1/8 16 barrel, but its not fluted, however it is in a black coating which is nice.

That's pretty good.  I didn't know it ran so cheap.  I gotta see how that is compared to black hills blue.   But it's 5.56 to boot.  That might be a good self defense load right there.

It's some of the best "match" 556 I've used. I dropped 20 rounds into a hole that I could cover with my thumb out of my 14.5" Costa. I buy a couple boxes here and there to plus up the stash.

Thanks.  Was debating 14.5 or 16 but after seeing your rifle which is basically the same setup I'm planning (scope/m-lok wise), I'm going with 16.  Looks good and don't have to pin and weld muzzle.

14.5 KAC recce w/ the Trij 1-8. Reticle is a little coarse at 8x for my liking but its rocking at 1x. We will see how it performs at distance and not just on paper at 100 yards.
