I know its nothing compared to some, but here is my humble addition.
I just dropped another grand on AR mags, so I should be up to snuff soon.

Fellow magwhores not willing to post their 300+ mag collections anymore???   Given the current bans being proposed, maybe not...   Well, I can understand...  (...just saying that we're not seeing those huge stashes as much in this thread.  But one could say that 100 mags today would almost cost as much as 300 mags bought a year ago.)

Where did your pics go?  The comments would suggest your collection is epic, but last I read through the thread, most of your post had been edited.

My stash is squirreled away in different locations which makes pictures difficult. I will have to get them all together someday.

I have 103 mags at the moment. 43 of them are loaded. I have enough ammo to load them all a couple times over.

Getting all my mags together for a picture would be out of the question.  I keep them at multiple locations, caches and bottom of several lakes.

[Last Edit: Bedouin2W] [#22]
Originally posted this here while this thread was MIA.

So after having gear spread across 3 states, dealing with multiple deployments, moves, etc... I finally moved into a house last month and it has given me the chance to open every duffel bag, tough box, and rubbermaid container that I have stored stuff in over the past 5 or 6 years. I think I am good on mags now.

Here's the breakdown:
8 Gen 1 PMags - Windowesd
16 Gen 1 PMags - Non-Window
3 Gen 2 PMags - WIndowed
9 Gen 2 PMags - Non-Window
1 NHMTG Mag
1 H&K Mag
18 D&H Mag
1 Surefire-60

Also I have a Colt-20 rounder that I came across somewhere that isn't pictured.

I also now have a dedicated mag locker with a Plano Sportsman's Trunk.

Before the consolidation, I got a little caught up in the mag buying frenzy and have 20 more .223 PMags on the way (10 Gen 2, 10 Gen 3) plus 5 .308 PMags and a 3 pack of the Troy BattleMags on the way. The .308 PMags I don't really consider panic buys since I only have one .308 mag for my M&P10.

Not trying to show off what I have since I know there are many members on here that have many more than I do. I just needed to see them all together for me to realize that I don't need to buy any more mags, unless there is a deal out there to be had  If the Plano case ever gets filled I will say I have enough.

Have added 10 more PMAGS (Gen 2, Blk non-windowed), 3 C-Products, and  a Microtech  XM-17 just to test it out since I took this picture.  Those back ordered mags are still on back order

I'm content with my stash.

5x G2 PMAG30
5x G2 PMAG30 Windowed
5x G3 PMAG10
5x G3 PMAG20
5x G3 PMAG30

25 total mags is more than enough for my needs. Only reason I see keeping 100+ mags around is if I'm gonna stand my ground at my house, but I don't see that kind of situation ever coming up.

Are you comfortable that 25 mags would last you the rest of your life? What if starting tomorrow you could never buy another AR mag.

As the saying goes, buy it cheap, stack it deep.

If I had to hazard a guess, it looks like Dan has them numbered in sets-with one set being comprised of a loadout for carry, training, or running and gunning. There is an instructor at Sig Academy who does the same thing.

Looking good, by the way

I still have more than I could use in my lifetime.
ETA,

I guess I should emphasize the "10 for each of my ARs".

That puts me at just under 400 mags.

I have to admit, that up until this last panic, I felt that I had enough with 28 30 rounders and 20 20rounders(all pre-ban)...but that being said, I purchased another 22 30rounders when the prices dropped several weeks ago.  The D&H mags are my favorite and PSA has some great deals.  Also picked up a couple of PMags since everyone talks them up so much. Plus several more 20 rounders from Brownells. Yes, I feel I have enough to last me my lifetime and my kids'.

I got 1000 rounds of Federal XM193 so I decided to load up as many 30 round Pmags(with 28 rounds each) as would fit in a typical .50 cal ammo can. They'll fit 14.

Other Pmags - M3 window and non, M2 window and non

Miscellaneous Pmags - Gen 1 20rd, Gen 3 20rd, Gen 3 10rd, other 30 rounders, Glock 17 Gen 4 17 rd.

You would have another mag worth of ammo in that can if you loaded them to 30 like they're designed for.

True. I'm just using the old military standard that loading 30 compresses the spring too much. Probably totally false, but just erring on the side of caution.

It's actually to make the usgi magazines easier to load into the weapon on a closed bolt. Pmags don't have that problem as much.

I will make it a habit to grab 3 or 4 at every gun show I attend. I would not call that "hoarding" but I do not want to see what happened this year again.
When they hit 60.00 a piece, I told myself that I will stock up when the prices come down.
Id say a personal supply of 50 would suffice, Im probably half way there.
The prices have started to come down and the supply is looking better.
