Also, that Huey rotor blade is bass ackwards. Leading edge should be flip flopped (counter clockwise rotation, not clockwise).
Unless it's a Chinook or Sea Knight then my theory is shot to heck.

I came across this picture in some old pictures that my grandmother had. Most of them were family pictures, but this guy isn't related to me. My aunt was sorting through the pictures with me and she knew who he was, but I've never seen him before. I thought it was interesting that there are two M16s in the picture (he must have had a friend that got out of view for the picture). Also, what sort of magazine is that? It looks significantly longer than a 20-round magazine, but it is straight. Is that one of the Armalite 25-round magazines?
On the back was hand written: "Me sitting in my new dining room eating breakfast."

I agree that the magazine is a 20 round. It looks this way because the magazine hasn't been seated inside the well all the way.
I believe the first people to recieve the 30 round magazine just may have been the guy's in SOG. This came about from all the "1-0's" who pooled their money together to buy the magazines from the old Sherwood Store in the back pages of a mag entitled Popular Mechanics. The above was found by John Plaster who asked anybody who wanted a 30 round magazine to donate the money into a pool especially for the 1-0's and he sent the money to his father so he could send them a check and recieve the magazines himself then they were mailed to John Plaster's to MACVSOG in care of Mr. John Plaster. For them this was Christmas when they recieved their new 30-round magazines Anybody around here still remember the store or their advertisements? RT Utah, I believe we know each other. Check out all these pics but its not about the weapon. Its about the military. Even in the jungle these guys were not slobs.All of their clothing was tailored , not like the baggy ass slobs of present day. And the weapon was upgraded to compencate for idiots. Just like the present day 3 round burst.

The third one picture from the the top is RT Idaho taken in 1971. The Indig is carring a "special muzzel flash suppressor" ( ie., it looks like the sound end of a high school air horn).
