Any news on the IRIS?
If I don't hear anything by the end of the month from Holosun I'm just going to spend my coin on the Cold Harbor Supply version of the LS M6TR. I'd much rather get the IRIS, but if it's not going to be out until next year I'll just pick it up then. My concern is that I don't want ot drop over $1K on a LAM and then have the IRIS come out like the next week. |

I wouldn't expect release until November/December |

For me the biggest reason to get an IRIS is because you have a legit warranty that I currently don't believe you'd get with the m6tr, otherwise I don't think there's a good reason to wait on the IRIS. |

IMO, Holosun dropped the ball - after the LS M6TR torture test on 4MR Ranch, they are going to lose a ton of sales because of their delay. ~Same price, full power.

I doubt that. Holosuns reach is way greater than Laserspeed. Holosun will sell a ton of these things to anyone that walks into a store and thinks its cool. Laserspeed has zero chance of doing that. No clue how the American Retailers are doing what they're doing. I'd be really worried about government asshattery... |

Yeah, the issue though is that the M6TR is so full power that it's over powered and even the low setting is too powerful. Without a good diffuser or maybe possibly the Cold Harbor Supply one that is supposed to be a bit more tame it's not perfect for what I and I suspect a lot of other people want right now. Plus the IRIS will have the focus slider on top that will be pretty nice, if it works well. Looks like the IRIS might beat the M6TR on price as well, but we'll see. Hopefully, the competition would push the price of both units down. M6TR though is the unit to beat right now. I do wish it had a visible override, but then again the IRIS isn't going to have that feature either. |

Any news on the IRIS?
We're into the 4th quarter of 2024 now and I haven't heard anything. What the consensus? Do you guys agree with me that we will probably not hearing anything on it until SHOT 2025? I have a feeling that we'll be lucky to see the IRIS ship out by 3rd quarter of 2025. What's interesting though, I haven't heard anything new about their Holosun weapon light that they were showing off at SHOT 2024. I'd have thought that would have come out by now. |

According to holosun Josh(marketing director)on reddit they will be out by end of year. The power output is supposedly going to right up there with the other civilian class vscel illuminators. Supposedly production units are going out to YouTubers now or in the next few days. The FDA stuff slowed them down is what has been said and when they got initial feedback from the FDA they tweaked it and resubmitted it essentially. So I guess we are back to the "we'll see" but it has been emphatically stated that they will be out before 2025.
