Does the SCAR offer much in the way of QD sling mounts? May have to go with a Gear Sector 2-point with HK hooks. These pics are killing me. They just prompted me to put one of my ARs up for sale to fund one of these. Lovin' everyone's rifles. Pic belongs to nyjetsfanwex. |

Yes. I love it.
What do you love about it? I am a big AAC fan and plan on making my next can purchase a Mini 7 for my 300 blackout PDW.
My friend has a few different AAC cans, one of which is an m4200. I love that can but I don't love the length. The mini-4 is somewhat of a niche can, but it definitely has universal benefits. The sound reduction is definitely impressive for the cans small size. I am running this on a 10.5 and it does a very good job of suppressing. On a longer gun even more so, say perhaps a pinned 14.5. Also, the OAL is desirable obviously. Additionally the price is pretty unbeatable.
One thing though, is AAC putting out a .30 cal version of the mini?
yes, they announced it at SHOT show last week.

I'll be getting one for sure then and using for my scar :) Wish I'd have known about it before I bought this mini, could have used for both.

You are the reason I now have a scar, I was hooked instantly Basically bring a pot of water to a near boil where it just bubbles a little then keep it at a constant temperature and add the color you want. Try test pieces to determine how long you need to keep it in the water to tune the color you want. I used standard Rit brown and experimented with how long to keep them in the DYE. You must start with lighter Color plastics than what color you want. I used FDE plastic with brown dye and it took 10 seconds to get the color I wanted. |
