I'm stoked. Just picked this little beauty up today. Only thing specific to the K is the Slate Black hand stop and panels. The irons and Huey are for something not built yet just to see what it all looks like. Debating between a form 1 or a collapsible brace. |

And do you get any shadowing from your illuminator? I'd prefer a c-clamp grip on mine, but I have to settle for modified c-clamp using the SF Unity Hot Button mounted on the left side. So rather than wrap over the top, I wrap over the button. |

I know where there are 2 SRD762Ti-qd’s sitting in a shop right now, they’ve been there for a couple years. They have a bunch of NOS suppressors.

Really pushes the light out to get less suppressor shadow; however, I use it on this setup because it gets the light body out of the way which makes it easier for me to engage the atpial manually (using the fire button on top), since there isn't a lot of room for switches. |

It’s direct thread. I just had to thin out the inside of the hand guard a bit to make it work.

However, with all the pics you have made for us here, have you ever done a comparative picture of your original LVAW receiver next to a Legacy receiver without the handguards mounted. I'd really like to see the difference. |

coregon,
Any chance we will see the 7.75 inch RASR barrels? |

Finally got to shoot my new MCX W-TAP Patrol and I can see why so many of you love this gun. I need to start saving for more uppers before they're gone!

View Quote optimum rattler set up. for those with the altrd ego lvaw repro rail, what was the best way to reach him? I ended up picking a legacy upper and need to change my order. I've sent him an email and a chat on his website but no luck. |

Is it possible to put the 5.56 rattler handguard on a virtus receiver?

I'm new to the MCX realm. Got a legacy upper and a 10" Lancer handguard on the way (also a LVAW repro rail). Was the 10" lancer part of the LVAW kit or just the 8"? Any hope for an 8" to come to market or are we going to have to wait for Altrd ego to make one?

Since this is a photo thread, do you want to go ahead and start a new thread with your question? Or you could ask in the FAQ thread as well since we cover some LVAW topics there. |

The newer forked gas lever from Virtus and Rattler indeed does not fit well with the Legacy Upper. If you want to change that, you need the original MCX Gas Lever which resembles, for lack of better words, a wing nut with dimples so a bullet tip can be used to push the lever. This older style will align dead center of the gas lever access hole on the Legacy upper..
