I would keep the heavy barrel profile. |

For recoil reasons? I never shot one, so I needed to ask. I would have thought one would want to keep the weight down. |

Why in gods name would you put a heavy barrel on a SBR?
Who is shooting groups on paper with a 12” .308? The whole point is to get a small, lightweight rifle. Putting a HB on a G3K for better accuracy is like how the original JLD PTRs were with their “improved” chambers and flutes for “accuracy”. Just bring the G3K. All it needs is a sling. |

In memory of my son Sean James, born 6/25/97. Died 9/16/13.
We will be reunited in heaven. |
I'd give them a second chance and consider one of these, if they can figure out how to ship guns with an acceptable bolt gap from the factory

I wonder what the pricing will be like on these, but if it’s not outrageous, I’ll be looking to pick one up.

Thanks Atlantic and PTR for what you do, and this opportunity!
Que the sound of K3P accessories disappearing from the net! |

Good news!

Would it be possible to pay a premium for a K3P that is modified to be for sale in Illinois? I have been waiting for several years for a K3P.
I would happily pay several hundred dollars more if the K3P would be available with modifications. A fixed, non removable magazine and a Californian style pistol grip delete would be worth the money for me. But a there an FFL I could send it to for them to do? |
|
|
Great News. Hope they arrive soon

Glad to see this getting closer. And that price is pretty close to previous cost I think, and way better than the secondary market listings after PTR stopped production.

We hope to have a few samples of the K3P pistols arriving in the next 7-10 days and will post some pics , Glad to have these back

Looking very nice. Glad to see they went with an MLOK handguard!

Ohh man.. I hope you can get the wide handguard as an option. Especially when the 7.62x39 becomes available.

Can you mount regular claw mounts over the pic rail? Got really excited when I saw this thread but was hoping it wouldn’t have the welded on pic rail.

I’ll SBR this as soon as I get it, what retractable stock works best?

You do not want the PDW stock as the rifle will not function reliably with the PDW retractable stock. The PDW stocks will only work with PDW 8.5" barrel guns. |

I have a clubfoot stock that I plan on using. What type of wide handguards do they need?

Hk33 handguards
