They are already promising to attach it to every piece of legislation that moves through Congress, and even threatening to shut the gov't down over it. That may get them some votes in CA and NY, but not in MI, PA, WI, MN, or OH. Trump is sort of taking a break from going on offense. He does this sometimes. Now is a good time with the two hurricanes.
