Quoted: Way back when I was a kid playing Little League ball, Spalding came out with a glove that had a white patch on the outside of the web that looked like a ball. I was proud as a peacock to be the first on my team with that new glove. Within a month the league issued a ruling on that glove, the patch had to be removed because it was confusing to batters and officials. I didn't remove mine but I stained it with shoe polish to match the rest of the glove. View Quote Was it red white and blue ? If so, I had the same one and was pissed when they banned it ! Maybe even upwards of ten of them. Good times. So, in Arfcom tradition, here's my 25000 picture. Quoted: https://i.imgur.com/nTTxn7D.gif ***** But on the other hand, the shitty playing of the DBags is keeping the Buccos from their rightful place of the worst team in baseball. This is a worse dilemma than Sophie's Choice. View Quote I think the problem is STL is way better than PIT. And they seem determined to prove they can be better at sucking too. Heck, an early draft pick would be novel and something to look forward to. |

Newbs always make a big deal over their low post counts.
I don't even know what my post count is. What I do know is that if you took all of my posts, put them in a book and made everyone read it, then you would solve 90% of the humanity's problems. |

Been a Cardinal fan for almost 30 years and this is as bad of baseball as Ive seen since their losing seasons of 07/08. Before that it was the late 90s.
Just fucking terrible. Lost a 2 game set to the Tigers, now have lost the first two of four to the Pirates. A week ago when I looked at the schedule and saw they had Atlanta, Detroit, and Pittsburgh to play I thought at least it was a chance to get some things figured out. Instead theyve managed 1 win so far. So this is how the other half lives. |

Often they just liked Wahoo, but also a lot of times they became fans because of Major League, or their parents, or other random reasons. |

Interesting when Miggy is up to bat the announcers talk about "Chasing History" instead of him be a productive member of the team. This is what the Tiger's have for the next couple years.
