Harvey County, Kansas, Sheriff T. Walton says between 20 and 30 people were wounded and somewhere between four and seven are dead, including the shooter. The shooter was killed by a law enforcement officer. The Hesston plant was not the only shooting location, Sheriff Walton said. "He was traveling and shooting from his car." No, no it wont. He will be a victim lashing out due to discrimination and harassment at the work place. |

One of my employees believes his father in law is one of the victims.
He has been shot and is in hospital. Good Lord. |

The shooter was convicted felon, spent two years in Florida prison.
http://www.dc.state.fl.us/InmateReleases/detail.asp?Bookmark=1&From=list&SessionID=881178557 The local news interviewed a man that lived next to the shooter and worked with him on the paint line. Guy said he wasn't aware of any problems the shooter was having at work. |

Watching the broadcast - guy had an extensive criminal history.

More background checks and gun free zones. That's the answer.

Someone joking about telling on him. Probably because he was a prohibited person. |

I'll take a wild ass guess and say the d-bag suffered from the old "chips on shoulder due to imagined people disrespecting me syndrome." |

Guy is from Florida. |

Really sucks to hear this. Things were pretty quiet for a while, then the Uber guy goes nuts, becomes an overnight celebrity in the media circus that ensued, and now this guys does the same thing. Can't help but think there is some "copy cat" syndrome at play.

Looks like all the FB photos are of him and his family/ kids. Not much with others. Pics or vids of him with AK go back a little ways so if he was not supposed to have a gun it's not like he just went out and got it yesterday so he could do this today. |

He had the gun for a while, but was a nice guy according to witnesses/ friends who knew him in KS. They did not know about his past. News saying break up with girl friend a little while ago but not necessarily a catastrophic thing for him. All speculation at this point though. |

Another asshole shoots up a gun free zone?
I'm fucking tired of this shit. All I can say is I hope the people that decided to make it a gun free / victim rich zone were among those killed. We cannot eliminate the dangerous people in society, but those that choose to make their places of business even more dangerous by banning weapons are just as reprehensible as the shooters. |
