The picture is kind of small. That dude kind of looks like Graham Chapman too.

Nobody in Russia that ever got that close to an American President was a tourist. That kid is a KGB hit man.

Better an Intelligence Officer running your Country than a Community Organizer.
Who do you think would win in a battle of wits, Vlad or Obama? My money is on the Slav. |

The KGB are some tricky bastards.
There's a good book about the KGB called KGB The Inside Story, by a very high level defector named Gordievsky and a Cambridge historian who also wrote a pretty authoritative history of the British intelligence services. It's more than 700 pages long. |

I saw this too, thinked through Drudge...glad I searched.
In a way it kind of got me thinking...in a sense, I kind of miss those cold war days. |

I'm not gonna lie. Putin would probably be a VERY interesting guy to sit down and have a drink with. I'm sure he'd have some interesting stories to tell.
|
|
I'll be honest and say if Putin was our guy, I'd rather him be our president than the Obamanation.

My thought, exactly! Kinda remind me of Jimmy Johnson- former Dallas Cowboy coach, and his hair. |

I think Putin loves his country as much as any of us love ours. I respect that, although it does not mean that I think that Putin always
acts in a respectable manner. Poisoning political enemies is not particularly respectable in a civlilized society unless you're poisoning communists or socialists. CJ |

Although celebrity culture exists everywhere (and nowhere else to the ridiculous extent as in U.S. and U.K.) it is still an individual choice not to participate in it. The reasons for those comments spring from an innate urge to bring those higher than us down to a lower level, to reduce them to the lowest common denominator of modern life. Also, celebrity is most rapacious in the most developed societies. Focusing on a famous person's offspring is a way to gain some power simply by reducing someone else to less than the sum of their parts. |

One of the things Putin has done which I like is he's established boundaries for what is proper and improper behavior from the Media. As opposed to the US where the Media blatantly manipulates information to serve an agenda (i.e. the election of Obama). |

Nice trigger discipline. Nice job of keeping the muzzle of the weapon pointed down range. I guess he did not want to mess up his hair so that's why he has the Ear Protection on like that. |
