I move that G17s be allowed but only First Gen guns.
Also, that at least one stage should have a stockless SMG (MAC, UZI, etc.) requirement in lieu of pistol. In the Scarface stage, the gun is loaded on table behind a plastic shower curtain. On start signal, the shooter must use a running chainsaw to cut the shower curtain and then proceed to engage all visible targets. |

Gen 17 and G19 came out as 2nd Gen guns in the late 80s. I'd allow it. For sure, iron sights only for pistols unless you have actual period optics on it like a scoped S&W 29 or some giant laser with a car battery. |
|
I'm thinking 1911 (Colt Series 70 reissue), M1 carbine and a Remmy Tac-14.... which I'm gonna pick up sometime after the new year.
...though there's a big part of me wanting to use my 4" Smith 66-1! |

The first Mini 14 I bought was from the mid-70s and was equipped with a laser sight that was as large as a sleeve of saltine crackers. It took some silly amount of D cell batteries or something like that. The rear sight had been lost to the mists of time and I had to buy a replacement to actually use the gun. I think the laser sight was trashed about 20 years ago, or it might be a good candidate for the role today.

2 gun. DAO non polymer handguns.
AR’s have to wear A1 or A2 uppers, no flat tops, traditional stocks or hand guards. |
|
|
Lets do a ghetto match!
The rules, A full 1/2 of your ass must be visible over the top of your elastic band pants. You must wear high tops with (wif) no strings. Pistols of course will be held sideways. |
|
As the owner of only a few guns, I could do a two gun version.
66 4" and 20" 870 Or for the real poor cop... S&W 1917 & Mossberg 500 18" Edit... Or very late 80s and my early 5903 can join |

I would allow new pistols that are cheap and available but were represented in the 80's for the new shooter, there is a limited supply of weapons built 30 years ago and prices will only go up. A new 92fs, Sig 226, Highpower, and glock would be easier to obtain and more people to have on hand to begin with without buying on the used market. Part of the problem with CASS was cost of weaponry just to enter the contest. Sure the cost of used 80's pistols is reasonable today but 10-20 years from now it will be more than cost of new. I would not allow any that were released after Jan 1, 1990 such as CZ P10, SW MP, HK VP and so on.

Glocks are kinda on the 50/50 for me. Yes, Glock existed and they were extremely popular. But I have an issue with Glock shooters fucking this up. |

This really needs to include blowing up a kit car Ferrari Daytona with a Stinger as the final stage.

Not feasable. It would cost too much money to release 2 dozen white doves for every shooter on the stage. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If you do an A-TEAM stage, you would have to empty three mags from a Mini-14 without anyone seeing you reload, and penalty points if you HIT any of the targets.

Will female shooters be forced to grow a bush?

Maybe a better rule for handguns is only allow those with no rail on dust cover. That would limit glocks to gen 1 and 2 and yet allow new 92fs, CZ75 and Hipower. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
