Holy fuck, I was gonna say that thing was fucked up as basketball cleats but after seeing the various vids on YouTube I WANT ONE!!!
They need to make a stock that looks like a SAW stock. And an M240 get up for the 7.62x51 AR. The Beta C Mags seem to work real well in these get ups. |

I can bumpfire from the shoulder without a bumpfire stock... the technique is simple, hold the rifle with your support hand and pull forward... the trigger finger is held in place and the gun bumps off of your finger. 
I used to think bumpfire was ghey... since I'm able to do it without a device it has lost it's appeal a long time ago. But bumpfiring from a bipod with a bumpfire stock is completely controllable and can be just as accurate as a real MG. I give SkilletsUSMC props for spending so much time talking about and sharing this concept, because it is a legitimate way to get around the NFA in a legal and safe manner. It also puts a smile on a lot of faces at the range, and let's be honest, who hates making people smile!?

Yeah, I'd probably have to call. I went on their site a couple of weeks ago and found nothing available online for sale. What department did you call? I'd love to do something like what you did. Sadly CA bans bumpfire stocks and the like, so it's a no-go. I'd be curious to see a detailed breakdown of the build and where you got the parts. If I ever leave here it could be a neat project. |
