I don't speak drunk so I can not answer your poll but yes, you're likely the only one.

I realize it no longer a fad & in some locations superior but it is so ugly like baby poop. I prefer OD green, or classic black. civince me I'm wrong without using the words tier 1 or operator View Quote |

The "hang over black" kinda works. And stop with the beards.

I'm bored with black guns, so I'll take FDE over black. That said, I LOVE OD green with firearms, and will make all sorts of bad financial decisions if one comes in green.
I'm not a huge fan of the Magpul FDE shade that's so prevalent everywhere. The new coyote tans though, those are some nice colors. Hair of a hue's difference. |

In the south, it’s cooler on a sunny day than black or green.

I've never cared for it since I don't live in a desert. I prefer green, black or grey.

Love FDE but only have two guns in it. 6.5G Rifle and 300BLK pistol. My truck is close to FDE but called Quicksand

Black is easier to discern at distance because the human eye is naturally geared towards high contrast. A low contrast target carrying a black rifle (a known length) makes it easier for me to judge distance which helps me when adjusting my sight picture in order to ensure shots on target.

I like the color, it is something different and contrasts well with black.
I also like green but it seems options are much more limited. I have 3 AR's, two are trimmed in FDE and one is trimmed in OD green. Looking into a FDE pistol, not available in green. |

Aervoe earth brown is superior.
It’s like deer. Deer can be tricky to see. |

Pick your black rifle up off the shooting bench after you post new targets.
In the Arizona summertime. |

I never liked FDE and I never thought it would work in my area. However, for some reason, I really want to put together an FDE AR-15. I think it's because I have a LaRue barrel just sitting around and it just seems fitting to put it on an FDE gun.

I love fde. The magpul version is little darker and I prefer that color

I never built one in FDE. wasn't a huge fan. OD is my favorite factory color.
Lately I've been into white. Got this one done, planning a recce in the same style. Attached File |

Ranger green or arcteryx crocodile FTE.
Anything beats black thru NODs. |

Didn't vote, No fitting option for me...
I kinda like FDE, I've seen many setups that I thought looked pretty cool. I just don't like it enough to pay extra or send my stuff off to have coated. Also, seems like its a big hassle to get optics done and I like the optic to be the same color as the Receivers... So, I like it, just not enough to pay more or spend more time on it... Also, I'm a cheap ass... I'd rather spend that money on more ammo.. |

It seems that many people here live in the desert. View Quote FDE is a perfect color choice for where I live, so I own a bunch of it. If I lived somewhere more green, I would own OD. |

My FDE crush days are over, and overall I prefer black rifles. However on that note, I don’t mind certain accessories in FDE such as optics, mags, or pistols.
Oh and I prefer the SCAR17 in FDE. It just looks natural that way. |

I have only one gun in that color, mainly because I was doing an EOD Mk18 clone. I do like the color but I like others too.
