Quoted:Yeah for half the cost of a new one. And that's IF they are still doing it. There was just a thread recently where I think the poster said they aren't doing it anymore. But I haven't contacted them recently so I can't confirm. But as of a couple years ago it's was 450 or 500 bucks for the replacement.

They are doing it.  I just sent mine. When they rebuild, you get back basically brand new scope.

Thanks fags.

This thread cost me $800 for a lightly used 33 w/LT mount off the EE.

Green chevron.

I took my 33 out today and rang steel out to 400.  I couldn't get on the 500 yard plate but oh well.  I think I will use that rifle for 3 gun this year.

none.  Do it.

ACOGs are great until the tritium dims.

They are great with dead tritium. You must not have one.

Lol. One... I've had 5 or 6. Still have 2. There used to be a tacked ACOG thread where I wrote reviews on 4 or 5.

Once the tritium dims, they are great for daylight shooting but suck for low light, especially red.

You can have the tritium replaced.

They charge 500 for the reticle upgrade. that was a year ago when I checked.
Might as well get a new optic. The high tritium replacement cost is a major downside.
Green lasts much longer than red.

UPS delivered my TA01 last Tuesday. Late yesterday I got this email:

Either they are very busy, or very slow.  Either way, if it takes a week to even acknowledge they have the scope...........

I just got this email:
We have received your TA01NSN under RA#: KH-12345.  Upon inspection it has been determined that your optic is 13 years old.  We can service the illumination to bring it back to brand new status and a renewed warranty of 10 years at a total cost of $188.00 if you choose.
Please contact Trijicon as to how you would like to proceed and/or to provide payment information.  We except Visa, Master Card and American Express.

Thanks you for your patronage of Trijicon and our products.

Went with this combo as I was able to score it off Amazon during the great Trijicon sale of 2014. I'm digging it, however I do prefer my Micro H1 for a dot though.

I really want to put one of the Blackout ones on my future SBR.

It might be a bit of overkill, but it's a Spikes Tactical Crusader lower, so I feel it needs a Trijicon.

ACOG TA01 on my RECCEish rifle, Aimpoint T1 on my SBR.  ACOGs are awesome.

I bought a TA-33 a few years ago and I really like it.  I was not sure if it would be worth the high price but it has been excellent.  I wouldn't mind having a few more.  You wont regret it OP

I only have a little TA44, but I like it enough that I want one on several more guns, particularly on more SBR uppers.
