It was an accident. Plain and simple.
Sucks. Same thing happened to Brandon Lee on the set of the Crow. |

As tragic as the accident is - at least she's now a good communist, thanks to Alec's [quote.] accident [/quote.]
Is he the first PedoJo supporting Hollywood star this year with a confirmed kill?? |

Didn't have Trump to pick on so he had to go find an honest job. There may be some Karma here ...

Most people would spend the rest of their lives trying to make peace with the feeling that they were responsible.
I doubt he'll have that problem. |

Alec Baldwin was filming a scene for a movie that required someone to fire a gun loaded with blanks, but when the gun discharged either shrapnel or a bullet hit 2 people on set ... one of whom had to be airlifted to a hospital.

i would defend jack donaghey, but i wouldn't mind if this baldwin fellow got sent up the river.

So 2 injuries from a single round, or did this guy crank off two rounds from a single action revolver?
And another actor getting hit would make more sense, rather than a writer and director, but I guess they could be in the line of fire based on the scene. Just seems weird, besides the tragedy |

A google search shows a not small amount of blank firearm deaths in the film industry.

Unless I'm missing something, we have three possibilities here. One, someone brought in a real, loaded gun. Two, someone managed to get live ammo in a prop gun. Three, someone got some kind of projectile in the barrel of a blank gun. You would think that that for two and three the gun would be fixed where that couldn't happen. There's a four but it doesn't apply here, the
Jon-Erik Hexum blank to the head. |

I remember a guy on a pretty popular television show in the early 90's was playing around with a "prop gun with blanks", playing Russian roulette or some nonsense and killed himself on set.... think he actually may have just been brain dead for a short time, but point stands..
guns aren't toys assholes |

Quoted: That's what the demon wants you to believe. View Quote No kidding. I was recalcitrant to believe Brandon Lee's death was accidental, and I will be just as reluctant to believe that this was an "accident" as well. Particularly after Brandon's death, these movie sets pay big money to safety managers and other set supporting positions. I can't even imagine a scenario where someone would accidentally introduce a live round(s) into a prop firearm. I have questions: 1) what type of firearm was it? 2) were there anymore rounds in it, and if so, what were they? I'm just having trouble seeing this as accidental. |

The failure that was encountered before is in a closeup, a real cartridge is inserted in a revolver for realism. Then you reload with blanks.
If the originals are live, and not replaced by blanks.... In a scene where Eric returns home to find his girlfriend being attacked, actor Michael Massee fired a prop gun at Lee, not knowing that the prop crew had accidentally left a fragment of metal from a previous set of rounds inside it. The fragment struck Lee in the abdomen, and despite being rushed to hospital and undergoing six hours of surgery, the wound cost him his life. Lee was just 28 years old. |

How many people have to be killed with a prop gun before they are deemed slightly dangerous?
How the fuck does a prop gun kill somebody? |

Well well well….anti gun douche shoots and kills someone with a gun.
Huh. |

Alec Baldwin is a jackass that I have no respect for in any way. Right now, if he’s a normal human being, he’s rolled up in a ball in psychological agony. The people that I know that have killed other people had problems with it afterwards, even trained LE with multiple witnesses agreeing it was a good shoot. I don’t envy the man right now at all.
