Never has a line? The one by us has a line wrapped around the block and the slowest service anywhere. I’ve sat in the drive thru line for 20 minutes before to only move up 2-3 cars and finally just go somewhere else. However, before it went to hell, their market fresh sandwiches or whatever they call them are good. Turkey bacon ranch. Also, secret menu item “Meat Mountain.”

The chicken bacon ranch sandwich with some curly fries is a pretty decent meal.

The Arby's Super was the best thing they ever had. I used to order it with potato cakes.
Can't get either anymore. |

Quoted: Good fast food at a decent price and never really has a line. I'm currently munching on a double stacked ruben. View Quote @STL_Nik Being from the STL area, have you tried Lions Choice? Best Roast beef samich ever! |

Because of this thread I tried the burger. It’s actually pretty good.
I’d definitely have it again. |

Fast food is straight nast but if you held a gun to my head it would either be Arby's or Hate Chicken.

Double stacked reubens? How the hell have I never heard of this? This has to be investigated as being the ultimate sandwich.

Quoted: I used to go there pretty often when I was in the army. I got the roast beef and cheese sandwich. Dumped Arby’s sauce in it. Tasty. And you can’t beat the curly fries. View Quote Actually in Michigan and other states that have a Leo's Coney Island you can by portion size. Arby's gives you a tiny box of them, Leo's gives you a plate full. Same curly fries as far as I could tell. |

It was my stop on the way home from drill weekends when j was doing that. MREs over the weekend followed by Arby's halfway into my 2 hour drive home. Had me sweating by the time I made it home to shit a huge brick.
I started going there again occasionally and got their smokehouse brisket sandwich when they first added it to the menu. They were really good for fast food. Then the quality dropped off. Fish sandwiches are pretty good, for fast food. I didn't know that had crinkle fries, don't think they had those last I was there. Gonna have to try that. |

I love Arbys. Usually a fairly long wait in my AO. GF wont touch any of it with a 10foot pole thou. The gyro isnt bad, but for the same price I can go to a legit Greek place for something much much better.

A good one is impossible to find unless you go inner city and they can be $10-$15. The Greek Gyros at Arbys are a bit greasy and the tzatziki sauce is barely edible but 2 for $6 isn't bad if you are wanting a quick Gyro. |

Their food is average at best and as expensive as all the other fast food chains.

Last time I had an Arbys gyro It was 5 bucks as I recall. A great local gyro is 7 bucks. |

"Decent price" is debatable. But their price relative to other fast food is justified by the quality. Their roast beef sandwiches are my favorite...it's not their fault it takes 2 of them to fill me up.
I wonder how that Wagyu promo is going. I've heard that it is underwhelming...not much flavor to it. |

I worked at an Arby's for a summer when I was in high school. The place was clean, and the food was good. Overall, it was a good experience. That being said, it was (and probably still is) a mecca for seniors. Their "satisfaction" policy was heavily abused by them.
Scenario: Little old lady buys a Jr. Roast beef meal with a coffee, gets her food, and sits down. Comes BACK 75 minutes later with a 7/8 eaten sandwich "my sandwich is cold"...we have to replace it with a smile on our face. |

We finally tried their Wagyu Steakhouse burger, and I agree, IMHO it was an outstanding burger. Maybe right up there with some of the best I've had outside homemade.
ETA, I went inside to get it, store was empty (everyone does drive thru these days), and chatted a bit with the burger man. Even HE was excited about em, touted how they come out slightly pink in the middle, and are super juicy. The ones we got delivered on all accounts. |

Quoted: Understandable. Mass market spicy things can often be difficult to get right. Most people will enjoy some spice but a small percentage want it ridiculously hot. They got rid of the chicken cordon Bleu and 5 for $5 has become 4 for $10

Quoted: If you're REALLY hungry, order their (not on the menu) Meat Mountain sandwich - it's every meat they serve piled on a single bun. https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yd9l1I5fVis/VBI_29KNzrI/AAAAAAAAfqU/0Nz1bINdxWU/s1600/arbys-meat-mountain-01.JPG View Quote |

I'm sure it's been posted but the Meat Mountain is a heart stopper.
Oh and fuck them for doing away with the potato cakes. |

When I was a kid the apple turnovers were awesome. The roast beef was good, but doesn't seem as good anymore. Rax roast beef was higher quality and tasted better. The Arby bbq sauce was great.

Haven't been to an Arby's in 5 years or more. They still have the Jamocha shake? Those are good.
