Is that because of a recount or because of new ballots found?

All of these "new" ballots were found and they made very little impact on Scott's and DeSantis' leads, now it's time for the recount.

They'll call for a recount, and then magically all those offices will flip.

They'll keep counting until they get enough to win...
It's mandatory due to the closeness.

If the leads were a few dozen or even a couple of hundred I would agree.

DeSantis is safe (which to me is the more critical office).

Wiping out Scott's 13,000 would be unprecedented.

Every single vote change in Broward, and anywhere else, will face intense scrutiny.

I think its about in the bank.
Its happening here in Az.  McSally was up on Friday by about 15,000 votes.

Now somehow its flipped to Sinema who is now up 20,000 votes.

New ballots that they say were never counted and reported yet.

Little impact?  Didn't it cut 40,000 votes off Scott's lead and flip the agriculture race?
Yes, and the loss of the Commissioner of Agriculture seat is frustrating for those of us who care about it.  I would be beyond pissed if I was Matt Caldwell.

From what I've been reading this is pretty typical for AZ, and just has never been this high profile. The biggest error is the media reporting counties as 100% complete wheen they aren't.

Dace, the vote lead swing aside, does it normally take AZ this long to finalize?

I'm not sure. One would think that what is taking place right before the worlds eyes now is illegal, against the law and unethical and that consequences or such are coming.

Still waiting.

Now?  WTF?  I guess AZ is cratering courtesy of its proximity to CA?

I guess I should be surprised that it took this long.

FYI:

Your Florida concealed weapon or firearm license is valid for a period of seven years. Approximately 150 days prior to the expiration date of your license, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) will send you a renewal form with complete instructions on how to renew your license.

Wyoming, no state income tax and very pro-gun. And I know some great people out there. I used to own a lot of land just across the border in Colorado. Luckily I sold it in the last couple years. I still have some relatives in Greeley and my daughter unfortunately just moved to North of Denver.. the only downside to Wyoming is the weather really sucks about 5 months of the year.

Libertarian voters handed the win to Tester when they wrote in Breckenridge instead of voting Rosendale, who Breckenridge endorsed after he dropped out. Tester would be gone otherwise; the vote was that close.

We are no more liberal than we have been for years now, the conservatives still hold their own quite well here.

Gianforte was not "barely re-elected, he won by a definitive margin of 24575 votes which in a state of just about 1 million is a pretty good margin.

As to Rosendale, he made a hell of a run against Tester and without the wasted votes from the Libs, he would have lost.

I doubt Idaho is going dimocRat "in a few election cycles".  Lots of LDS folks here, and they vote the conservative ticket by and large.  Leftist Paulette Jordan received just under 40% of the vote for Governor.

This is true.

But I've felt this way for the last 20 years.  When I was young I was an optimistic Republican.  But then I realized the Republican party really didn't want small government, wasn't really fiscally conservative, and pretty much didn't give a damn about individual liberty.

I'm a liberal (concerned with liberty).  I guess I have to say classical liberal so people don't confuse me with leftist authoritarians, which is what the Democrats are (I actually resent their use of the term liberal).  My primary concern politically comes down to preserving the ideas of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, maximizing individual liberty, low taxes and fiscal responsibility.  Those aren't the concerns of modern conservatives.

There is no political party for me.  I accepted that a long time ago.

No, they did not fail.

They stuffed the boxes. They defied court orders. They told everyone to go fuck themselves. And saw they can get away with it. They cheated, period.

This just showed them they can fuck with our electoral process at will, even now, during Trump. If these elections would have been closer they would have successfully stolen them. They DID in Arizona.

Even if we manage to pull this out, they CANNOT be allowed to just walk away. Everyone can't just breathe a sigh of relief, have a beer, and forget it happened.

So have I.  But there are plenty of things we all should do, but don’t, in order to follow the laws, for example carrying to protect your family at all times.

There are also plenty of situations that people like us find themselves in where you find yourself at the mercy of people cut from the same cloth as the Broward election officials.

My reaction to that type of stuff in a country and system where one side does not participate in the agreed upon rules will be a hard pass, no thanks. I’m not going to be the one sucker who does it.

They can all go to hell.
