Iran is in alliance with Russia, China, Turkey, etc. The ignorance being shown here, talking about how primitive Iran is...well, look who is supporting them and watching from a close distance? So, just trying to clear up information regarding the assets the potatus gave to Iran, timeline is rough, don't have all the dates, just a rough summary:
1. At some point, Iranians evaded sanctions and sold oil, they got caught and 6 billion dollars got frozen in a South Korean bank. 2. Sept. 2023 - The potatus (really and truthfully Blinken who I believe is FJB's main handler) agrees to un-freeze the 6BN in assets and also to release 5 convicted Iranian spies in return for Iran releasing 5 kidnap victims (allegedly spies, bullshit charges). Iran continues it's legacy of being lowlife kidnappers since 1979. 3. Money is transferred to Qatar, where it is to be doled out to the Iranians for "humanitarian use only"...yeah right. 4. Oct. 2023 - In the aftermath of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel, Rep. Mike McCaul of Texas, introduces the "No Funds for Iranian Terrorism Act" in the House on 10/16, act is specifically to STOP the transfer of funds to the Iranian terrorists. 5. Nov. 2023 - The act passes the House with significant bipartisan support 307-119 on 11/30. 6. Dec. 2023 - Bill is delivered to Senate, who promptly kick it to committee on foreign relations on 12/04. Where it has apparently died a quiet death thanks to Senate commies who support terrorism. 7. So as far as I know, Iran is still getting the 6 billion. And pretty obviously using it for the exact opposite of "humanitarian" issues. |

Iran has been a problem for decades. Israel nuking them is not something I want to see. I know if this goes hot it could spill over here at home, via terror cells and hacking. In a perfect world Iran gets a conventional beating and regime change with no ill effects here. With so much going on in the world, I fear this could spiral out of control.
