I will admit tanking and tank combat is one of the most complex and subtle subjects I have ever come across. There's a lot going on there

Quoted: Personal preferences and notes: I may cut down on the baking powder just a hair or decrease the amount of salt just a little. Also, may melt some of the butter on top of the biscuits rather then solely being at bottom. (It says 1 stick of butter) You can get away with a cast iron frying pan for the biscuits. I melted the butter in the cast iron before I put the dough in. Does not rise uber high, the butter does bubble a bit . Note that the bottom does crisp up ALOT. So, don't exceed 30 minutes. For the sausage gravy, coarse pepper and I used half and half. Quoted: Not fun unfortunately. Power is alot of responsibility and throwing in the distance and young ones. Ugghh. Sorry you guys hafta deal with it. It's family though, what ya gonna do. At this point, I would rather have the tech support calls from my dad then deal with that. He is a fighter and keeps going in and outta the hospital for about the past 5 years. I can't say I envy you guys. Kudos for being there for the family though. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Awe sorry to hear. That's a tough pill to swallow. I know some care facilities are better then others. Hopefully its a better one. (I'm familiar with Rotten -croch-fester, my dad has been n numerous facilities over the years. It's daunting and always scary for the patient and the family. Just alot is coming at the same time for ya guys. Just take it little by little - hopefully things improve soon. She has 2-3 months to live. Shes given power to my wife. Tough as we are 2hrs away and have young kids so not much free time to do much At this point, I would rather have the tech support calls from my dad then deal with that. Quoted: Right? Just goes to show no matter how hi tech we are it's the old school stuff that keeps on working View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: And that's why I still know my goddamn hand and arm signals for tank platoon formations Can you believe that? Who the hell needs to remember how to open the damn hatch and start waving their arms like a crazy person so that 3 other tank commanders who hate their life choices that led them to that moment can turn and look at the crazy person waiving their arms and know what formation they need to smoothly and by the numbers slide their 2 million dollar tank into? Well me, I'm one of those people unfortunately. My radio was deadlined more than I can remember, so I got really good at ASL for tank combat My man I hadn't used the Infantry had and arm signals in over 2 decades, and yet I was able to do them without any hiccups last weekend even though I missed the class on them Yep Most of the guys there had never done anything like that. The most common comment was along the lines of I never knew walking could be so complicated |
