For us mutual aid means the assisting office handles traffic control, scene security and other non reportable stuff to free up local officers. If it starts going hot with multiple hot calls I’m not sure how that would go. It’s uncharted for sure. Maybe hand written reports. The CAD systems may not talk together. Evidence gathered would be a nightmare as any competent defense attorney will bring up chain of custody. All kinds of bad shit besides just doing the bare minimum. |
