I haven't bought any ammo (except some clearance 22lr) from them in over a decade. I bought two cheap 22lr rifles several years ago.

One of my local Walmart’s was at one time the highest volume gun seller in the state. But that was some years back. I haven’t been to the sporting goods department in a Walmart in years. I go in get what I need (usually some OTC meds or something) and leave.
I can remember when my local Walmart was normal sized, not a Super Walmart and they sold handguns. |

We only have two grocery options within 45 minutes. Walmart and Safeway, which sucks on pricing. Only one of two options for ammo also and the other is shit. |

I have never purchased a fire arm or ammo from walmart. They do not honor a CWP as instant back ground and they do not recognize the 3 day rule. they have always supported any legislation against the 2A - no hair off my butt what they do. Amazon is putting them in a hurt anyway. Not that Amazon is any more pro 2A |

I don't open carry in WM (seldom open carry period) and never buy guns or ammo there but I see a ton of other people open carrying there every time I go. I can see WM stock dropping really soon. I bought two guns from WM 20 + years or so ago. An 870 Express and a Howa 223.
