It is apparently a hard pg13. It says PG13, sure, but they want a young audience seeing it.  The writers of this movie, the Hollyweird crew, are 100% the people who chimped out over DeSantis signing the Florida law ending grooming "sex-ed" for K-3. These people have a very fucking different idea of what adult themes are and what is appropriate for children. They are trying to expose them to this propaganda at the earliest age possible, and make it friendly and digestible for them, so they get the leftie message. That is the point. In "barbie land" they talk about how they don't have genitals (ken or barbie). Pure trans ideology, trying to "normalize" picking your gender.  Barbie winds up in the real world and ... YES ... they go there. Barbie has bottom surgery to get a VJ ... and apparently this is talked in a way that triggers the "what's that" response from young kids who don't know what the heck is up. Intentional. "Forcing conversations" onto parents. Even though it's "PG13", children that age are very impressionable and will base their entire personality around a movie character. For them, Santa Claus was real within a short amount of time from that age - driving is still a half a decade away. They are not that equipped for this. This is apparently not the only thing like this in the movie. Young kids in the screenings these people went to looking at parents and going, "Mommy, what's that?" ... apparently even one of the teens in the theater blurted out "this is a kids movie!?!?" Sounds like parents should pre-screen this one before taking their kids to see it. Pass it around. OK TOM. You said we don't pay attention. Well, here it is. Someone tried. ----------------- Now the expected stuff: Feminist: Check. Don't dare trying to take a shot every time they say patriarchy: Check. Literally saying Patriarchy. They arent even subtle anymore. A lot of the girls playing with barbie dolls, the character for whom this movie is named, might have issues reliably pronouncing the word "patriarchy".  This is how bitterly political these people are. Many of these people in hollyweird have no children of their own. Those that do, view having a transchild as religious sacrament that helps their status in the church. Teaching females to be manipulative, get theirs, and hate on men: check. Early PostTrak shows 4 1/2 stars for Barbie and a 79% definite recommend. 82% were general audiences, with 11% kids under 12 and parents repping 7%. A massive 71% female. Kid under 12 also the same grade with 88% girls under 12 giving pic a 92%.
