No experience with others, but my CMC is great. I was on the fence about getting it because CMC doesn't get much love but I like mine.

Precision rifle, or like PRECISION rifle.
the Hi-Speed National Match can get *scary* good. like don't get me wrong the MBT and SSA are one thing, this is a whole different lebel |

IBTP Geisselle. Across their range, I’ve sampled unbelievably great triggers.
Never played with a Triggertech in an AR, though… |

Have this one in one of my .308 plinkers, I’m happy with it.
No problem with hard primers either. Attached File |

I can hit man sized steel targets out to 400 yards with my MBT, with relative ease I might add.

If you pick a Geissele, HSNM is the best. I have 3 of them including one in my JP Enterprise barreled 6.5 Grendel. Then, I found triggertech when I bought my Vudoo 360. I just placed a Triggertech diamond in my ar10 if that means anything.

Geissele or Larue.
They'll take high round counts, being good steel with large enough contact areas. The CMC dropins and similar will not, they're a bad engineering compromise to save 5 minutes of installation. I guess if you never wear out a barrel, sure, you won't wear one out. |

To open a old chestnut the G high speed national match is MIM and the Larue MBT is machined tool steel. There isn't that much difference in mine at the weight I have them set and I'm a trigger snob. But if your wanting a very light pull on a AR go with the HSNM. All my ARs are set up as combat/hunting type arms and most have the MBT trigger as I keep the pull above 2.5 pounds. If you want trigger heaven try a Anschutz 54.18 trigger in a bolt action .22. It has like a connection to your brain when tell it to fire it magically does it!

A lot of the parts are MIM. |

SD-E feels awesome to me
Now I’ve gotta build a rifle worthy of a NM. Never tried one but now I’m intrigued |
|
I’ve got a JP in one, and an AIMSURPLUS Single stage in another.
Both do very well. |
|
I have 2 Geissele SD-Cs and a LaRue MBT-2S straight bow and I really can't quantify which one is better. Both are fantastic. I hear people prefer the enhanced Geissele triggers for the lighter trigger pull for the best precision shooting though.

As long as it is a two stage it probably does not matter for 99.9% of us.

Geissele is my first choice. If you don't have G money then a Rock River national match trigger is the best budget trigger. I have a couple of them in rifles .

I've used all of them. Best value, regardless of class? Rise armament, and it's not even close. And if you're on a tight budget, they are way beyond the competition in that slightly over $100 class. Really short reset, too. Best precision trigger? A bit closer, but Triggertech. I also use the Triggertechs in my bolt PRS rifles now. It's a different feel, due to the way they mechanically break. But it works and it's really reliable.

HSNM > THREAD.
The MBT is a great AFFORDABLE 2 stage but it leaves alot to be desired when it comes to precision work. |
|
Wilson Combat in whatever variety you desire. My TTU-M2 edges out my SSA-E in takeup, break and reset. Both fine triggers, but the Wilson is a bit better and I like the thin flat face of the trigger shoe more than the standard AR trigger shoe.
Larue are OK for an $87 trigger, but aren't even in the same ballpark, let alone the same sport as the ones above. They do a good job as being better than a trigger you pull from a LPK, but the others are a true step above. |

Hiperfire shits all over bendy bills cast-stravaganza shit, amd larue matches it for like.. a third the price. If ole billy didnt give so much free shit out to cliques onhere no one would give half a fuck about his junk |
