Looking to acquire some new coffee to try. What’s you go to, last brand you could ever buy for the rest of your life?

Go two days without coffee
Drink coffee. It will be the best coffee you ever had! |

The best came from Brazil. My buddy is married to a women from there. When they visit her family, he always brings back a decent amount. It's very potent. No brand name, however.
I just placed an order at Mount Rushmore coffee company. Unlike BRCC, they really are patriotic. |

I had been at a fire all night, sleet coming down and miserable out, soaking wet, cold, miserable.
Then the public information officer came by with a bunch of coffee from somewhere, damn it was good. Drank that as it got light outside. |
Tensing Pen in Negril, Jamaica. Whatever they served every morning
The 3 pound bag I bought at the airport on my way home from Bogota. Best coffee I have tasted. And it wasn’t even the best they had in the shop.
True Kona from Hawaii. My mom brought me some from one of her trips.
Georgia Coffee in Japan... That stuff was addicting... could have been the nicotine in it
Folgers Black Silk filtered through two brown paper filters.

Little place in Paris serving Italian coffee, otherwise Illy.
The coffee at Extraordinary Desserts in San Diego. Holy fuck, the best ive ever had. Worth a stop if youre in San Diego.

I've had my fair share, but outside of super niche stuff I'd say that Kona Coffee always rates very high for me

I was getting Cameron's coffee beans for a while and tried their Organically grown French Roast a couple of years ago, and it became my favorite. Good, dark, rich coffee.
Trader Joe's straight 100% Kona. Kona coffee today is so expensive almost everyone only makes blends.
I'm fortunate enough to have two mom and pop roasters within 20 minutes of me. They both roast a variety of delicious coffees that are far better than anything I've bought in a store.
For a chain place, https://ohenryscoffees.com/ out of the Birmingham area has a pretty excellent espresso blend. |

I woke up in frozen slush after sleeping (if you can call it that) in a muddy, wet, fighting position during a field exercise. That aluminum canteen cup of MRE instant coffee scalded my tongue and it made my entire mouth taste like shit. It was still the best coffee ever at that miserable moment.

Folgers. Plain old regular Folgers. No milk, no cream, no sugar.
Anything Sumatra in my opinion
Since I'm fairly frugal I like World Market's store brand 11.99 for 24 oz bag of whole beans I can get it locally or online mail order. |
This is the best I have found so far. But different people like different coffees.
I am still experimenting/searching because variety is the spice of life. https://volcanicacoffee.com/collections/peaberry-coffee/products/tanzania-peaberry-coffee?variant=31641578766394 |

Current favorite is Montana Coffee Roasters Organic French Roast. I buy it by the 5 lb pack and it’s good!
There was some coffee at Grocery Outlet first year I moved to Sacramento with a snowy log cabin on the packaging. Maybe had some caramel flavor to it. That was good coffee but can’t remember what it was.

Pour over cup of pike place special reserve(only available at the og Starbucks) at the original Starbucks.
It was flipping amazing |

Reve Coffee Roasters - Lafayette, LA
Dark Heart Coffee - Loveland, CO |

Sitting in a darkish warehouse in Alexandria, Egypt in the early 70's.
Surrounded by thugs and mugs, looking to buy some illicit weaponry. Butthole somewhat puckered. The leader of said miscreants served up a little smoke and a tiny cup of joe. Best cup I ever had. Negotiations were concluded peacefully and I developed an acquired taste for middle eastern goodies. |

Espresso Milano
This is it! The perfect Espresso. An artful blending of Costa Rican Tarazzu, Fancy Bourbon Santos, Tanzania Peaberry & Ethiopian Harrar gives this coffee incredible flavor with a rich caramel crema View Quote These beans and a Chemex drip filter make incredible coffee |
its always the best coffee when i add a few ounces of hazelnut liquid creamer.
Whatever's in the carafe at the fire station.
Fire station coffee > police station coffee. |
View Quote I got hard just reading the ingredients. Not sure why... |
