He retired years ago. He writes cop thrillers, they aren't bad.

Uncommon Valor and Unforgiven.

The Replacements is another good pick but for a comedy drama flick.

He is had a great career. Killer actor in some major awsome movies for over 4 decades. Some of my favorites.
