Looking to paint a car a medium to dark metallic grey, which does Arf like the best?

You're asking us to pick out the best shade of the MOST BORING COLOR THERE IS.
I'm sick to death of boring, dull, muted colors that are all on the grey scale, something generally found on the path between black and white, with subdued color and low saturation levels. |

BMW Stahlgrau (steel gray). Matches BBS "gun metal" very well. I'd take a pic, but its raining like hell.

Subaru Dark Gray Metallic is pretty good looking. Looks really good clean and still pretty handsome dirty. |

Mercedes Steel Grey Metallic. Circa 2011. Close to Ford's Magnetic. Little more flake and maybe a little bluer.

Some of these colors are too dark.
Lamborghini Titanium Metallic is extremely nice - PPG DBC 35989 Similar is Lambo Grigio Antares or Ferrari Grigio Titanium in PPG. If doing Dupont then do Pepper Grey Metallic from Eleanor - 44490 And Lambo and Ferrari paints are actually some of the cheapest colors to make in PPG DBC. Cheaper than Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford colors. |
