Not going to argue with you OP, because you're absolutely fucking right.

My cousin used to (probably still does) make an awesome Pecan Pie when we were kids. I loved putting a huge dollop of Homemade Vanilla on top of a still warm slice.

Lol, reminds me of when they came back to market after the issue, and my boss grabbed a bag of those single serve cups. We're eating it, and he says, it tastes like it's missing something. I look him right in the eye, and say "yea, the listeria" lol

Holy Fuck, Schwan's is still a thing?! Have not had it in over a dozen years, but I do recall that all of their ice cream products were high quality.

Just to be accurate, they found listeria in one batch of single serve food service cups, and they shut the entire plant down for a thorough sterilizing. They continnued paying their employees. No one got sick from the product. It was a complete plant overhaul and decon.

This, but it will cost you a pretty decent amount for just a pint. As a side note, I was down in Oklahoma recently and had the house brand ice cream at Braum’s. Wow that ice cream was incredibly good. They have some locations down near Joplin, so I’ll definitely be hitting up this place more often. Too bad I can’t pick up their ice cream at my local Hyvee grocery store.

Bluebell is still my favorite. However I'm kinda pissed the bullet pops are not back yet. Unfortunately I don't think we will see them again. Politics these days and a popsicle called a bullet.

Blue Bell makes the best plain vanilla and chocolate icecreams in the world. The Great Divide, which is half and half split down the middle, is possibly the best item at your grocery store freezer isle

It's pretty good.

The best ice cream on the planet was the homemade vanilla ice cream made in a hand turned churn beneath my Grandmother's carport on Summer evenings.

I do like some of their vanilla on some hot peach or blackberry cobbler, especially at the rodeo!

Their best ice cream though is their Rocky Mountain Road with their Raspberry Fudge Brownie a close second!

But I've never found any of their Southern Blackberry Cobbler or Georgia Peach Cobbler to try yet....

Blue Bell is great. Homemade Vanilla is good; it's just too plain for me.

Buttered Pecan, Natural Vanilla Bean, even plain old Chocolate Chip are much better offerings, not to mention the chocolates and all the other combinations.
