Faulty Towers and Keeping Up Appearances are funny shows. I need recommendations for other good shows to check out.

Check out Plebs. Very much a British humor show about Ancient Rome.

Black Adder.
Season 1 is good. Seasons 2,3 and 4 are absolutely amazing! Honestly, I would start with 2 or 3, and then watch the first one afterwards, if you enjoyed them. |

Not a sitcom, but if you haven't watched Taskmaster it's well worth it.

For those of us that are getting on in years and/or have fond memories of the greatest generation, Last of the Summer Wine and Waiting for God are pretty good.
Edited to add: hadn't noticed Red Dwarf listed yet. |

I have just discovered Good Omens and have watched the first two episodes. So far, it’s brilliant.
I will second Blackadder if you haven’t seen it. And as said, Seasons 2+ are significantly better than 1. |

This one is Irish. Dave Allen at Large. He was a very funny guy. You can find the shows on YouTube.

Quoted: Dad's Army worth a watch? View Quote Yes, but it probably doesn't have the same context in 2020's USA as it did in late 1960's early 1970's Britain. WW2 was still fresh so the characters would have relevance. You could add Aint half hot mum too. Get some in! Was an RAF comedy from a similar period set in then 1950's |

Quoted: Quoted: Coupling Mrs. Brown's Boys (OK, it's Irish, not British...close enough) Mrs. Brown's Boys is hysterical. +1 It's one of my all time favorites. It's a bitch getting it to stream (legally) for any extended period of time. |
