If the retailer is selling it for $21 then they probably only paid $10-15 for it so AB is almost certainly losing money at that price. Would I buy from a company I hated that's losing money on what they're selling me simply over their politics? Yes. I'd look for the beer that was produced in the pre-AB tranny era that hadn't yet expired and enjoy my $10 beer. ...but my ability to break this math down is why I drink whisky and not beer in the first place. |
