It’s kind of a scam anyways. It’s a manufacturer rebate so you likely need to fill out some BS form that prints out at checkout. You have to give them all your info and send it in and you’ll get your $10 back in like 6 months.

According to a few members here this whole boycott is a waste of time and AB isn't suffering at all. Why would they have such deep discounts on their beer if that was the case?

View Quote A few years ago when it was $8 they mailed me a Visa gift card for $16 in less than a month. Still a pain in the ass to save $16 on a couple of cases to stock the shop fridge of a friend who drank the stuff. |

I'll take some if they pay me to take it... I need some cans for my can launcher.

Scan the product bar code and the customer pays $10 less and the store gets it from the manufacturer. |

If they lost money on the sale and then seen it further expand the ongoing memes again them...they would care. The point of giving it away cheap is to get people back to drinking it. A meme mocking them is the opposite of that. |

Not a boycott, since I've been enjoying Yuengling for years, but it's good to not be drinking a BL.

Nobody bought those missing cases. They did that on purpose to make it look like "Its ok!! See, your neighbors are drinking it"

Just so you know, that is an end cap trick for clearance stuff, as it makes it look like people like the sale and are buying it.

I normally buy random microbrews I’ve never had before at the speciality beer store on the sale raxk(5-9 bucks a 6 pcack). It shares same building as can redemption center so I drop off empty’s and get a discount on new ones . I deliberately bought a 24 pack of miler light today. No reason other than I’ve got cheep beer for my friends now.

Quoted: 50% off based on a manufacturer's coupon? If the retailer is selling it for $21 then they probably only paid $10-15 for it so AB is almost certainly losing money at that price. Would I buy from a company I hated that's losing money on what they're selling me simply over their politics? Yes. I'd look for the beer that was produced in the pre-AB tranny era that hadn't yet expired and enjoy my $10 beer. ...but my ability to break this math down is why I drink whisky and not beer in the first place. View Quote And, AB will then know who the weak ones are. |
