I noticed that too. Sucks. I'm mostly a craft beer guy, but do (or used to) enjoy a Corona with lime and salt every once in a while.

Some craft breweries make Mexican-style lagers so I'll just get seek those out instead from now on.

No, what they NEED to do is to clarify the fact that they made a mistake.

It wasn't a mistake. They did it on purpose, and they didn't take the consequences into consideration at all. Why would they? As a general rule, this kind of thing doesn't happen to any of the other companies that shove this shit down our throats. It needs to, even if it's one company at a time. Find a competitor and buy their product instead as the opportunity arises.

I'm pretty sure that is the main tool we have at the moment. I do think it can be effective, but the word has to be spread. Companies can still drive it off the cliff and sacrifice for the cause though. Time to build a parallel economy and siphon off their funding. Even that is just a band-aid solution though. They can  just use the federal government to bail out the agenda pushing companies with our tax dollars. I think we are just jockeying for position until we get to the fight.

Actually S&P is up exactly 50% since the same time period.

So it outperformed the market 9%, or roughly 20% more gain..

I don't call a woke company beating returns by 20% while giving a dividend yield over 1%/yr better than the S&P average yield "going broke."

It simply does NOT square.

So you're saying that P&G stock is up about 59% since Jan 2019? Underperforming the market over a 5-year period doesn't seem like a big win to me. I'm not a financial wizard though.

S&P 500 is up like 65% over the same time frame.

I didn't say they're going broke. Just putting some perspective to the raw p&g stock price change which looks less impressive when compared to the market.

And obviously the change % is dependent on the exact dates you choose. The articles thst popped up for me about the Gillette snafu were all early Jan 2019, so I used Jan 7 2019 to yesterday to calc the S&P. 2549 to 4137 is +62% change. That doesn't include dividend reinvestments either, same as the P&G calc. Maybe my time frame is off.

One might think that Bud Light could just apologize and admit that men aren’t women. But no matter how much Bud Light and parent company AB InBev might wish to reign in the radicalism, they can’t abandon the agenda. They’re mired in World Economic Forum/ESG gobbledygook.

Budweiser claims to be “a beer rooted in the heart of America.” But in 2008, the Belgian company InBev bought AB for $52 billion, putting “a fixture of American culture into a European rival’s hands,” per the NY Times. Now it’s beholden to elites at the WEF, UN, and EU.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoQfMBWIAsrF8a?format=png&name=small
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoQkmmWcAElZkd?format=png&name=small

Bud Light’s suggestion that the Dylan Mulvaney endorsement was just some one-time thing would be more believable if AB InBev didn’t openly admit to wanting to “ensure” their pro-trans diversity “touches upon all functions, including…Marketing.”

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoQwPCWIBM_8Jv?format=png&name=small

AB InBev has embraced a litany of woke initiatives, from ESG to DEI, along with a full endorsement of transgenderism. They now foot the bill when employees choose to mutilate their bodies.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoQ2XOWIAQSo-r?format=png&name=small

AB InBev has adopted a corporate policy that exalts “gender identity and expression” to the same level of significance as age and race.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoQ9BNXoAA_aoC?format=png&name=small

AB InBev not only indoctrinates all their managers with “unconscious bias training”; it also insists that *external* suppliers submit to the pro-trans “diversity” agenda too.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRIrOWIB4IWBk?format=jpg&name=medium

AB InBev isn’t surprised by Bud Light’s peddling LGBTLMNOP propaganda, but you can bet they were surprised that this time customers said, “Enough!”

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRQ1WWIAU9dNc?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRVWLWIAMw8xi?format=png&name=360x360

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRZg9WIAoe4T0?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRe9bWwAQftL7?format=png&name=small

Some of AB InBev’s other subsidiaries go further than Bud Light, funding “family-forming” benefits to cover depravities such as two men buying a woman’s eggs, renting another woman’s womb, and intentionally depriving babies of their natural mothers.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRlzGWIAY4Jv4?format=png&name=small

If you’re still confused as to why the Anheuser-Busch statement on the Mulvaney can comprised nothing but babble, consider AB InBev’s openly stated goal of becoming “agents of change” and a “recognized champion of diversity.”

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoRsYZXoAIFSyO?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoR3O_XsAASdy7?format=png&name=small

t seems AB Inbev can no longer rest easy by making a few donations to the GOP, all the while carrying out the WEF’s “Stakeholder Capitalism” agenda.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoR-WWXoAE_vl1?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSDJMWwAAVAo0?format=png&name=small

The radicals in Belgium running AB InBev and cozying up to WEF are not your friends. They’re not even your neutral acquaintances. They’re advancing a political agenda that is crippling our country.

Publicly traded companies around the world are caving to the pressure of ESG ratings and pandering to Klaus Schwab and his pack of elites. That would be reason enough to stand against them. But it gets worse. Large global advertisers like AB InBev are taking it further.

The World Federation of Advertisers, whose members include mega corps like Ab InBev, Adidas, BP, CVS, Goldman Sachs, Mastercard, McDonalds, Merck, Nike, P&G, Hershey, Disney, Unilever, and Walmart, among others, have created a monster known as “GARM.”

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSMzXWIAAYqVu?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSRv7WIAIiD0E?format=png&name=small

The Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) is a “cross-industry initiative” (i.e., an agreement of the world’s largest and most powerful advertisers AND platforms) to demonetize what they consider “harmful content.”

To achieve this, lib-captured companies such as AB InBev & Big Tech platforms such as YouTube & TikTok created standards that limit or demonetize content that contains “hate speech” about “gender identity,” “insensitive…treatment of debated social issues,” and “misinformation.”

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSZAKWIAMBBVl?format=png&name=small

When were these “misinformation” policies introduced? “In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic,” of course, and in collaboration with the far-left European Commission and NAACP. What could go wrong?

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSgzEWIAs3wjR?format=png&name=small

GARM is so powerful and controls so much advertising money (like that of Bud Light) that YouTube, Meta (FB & IG), Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and others are writing pages of reports about how they will run their platforms to satisfy GARM standards.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSnO5WIAo997U?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSsLOXsAMsbOQ?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSvtgWIAAlFB0?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoSzWXXwAAPjrR?format=png&name=small

Now, what could make this enormous team of woke corporations even worse? Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum swallowed up GARM as a “flagship project” under their “Platform for Shaping the Future of Media, Entertainment and Sport.”

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoTCTWXwAEy53L?format=png&name=small

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FvoTF9nWIBY_M7k?format=png&name=small

It’s difficult to convey the scale of this problem, but thanks to @Jim_Jordan  and the @JudiciaryGOP  , some GARM and WEF staff are going to have to answer some serious questions.

Don’t look away. If we don’t put an end to this growing scheme of control and deceit, Bud Light’s inability to apologize and admit that men can’t be women will be the least of our problems.

When I own a stock, I want management to market to everyone legally capable of buying the product.  (I think BUD was marketing to minors, Dylan Mulvaney’s market consists of plenty of children).

I don’t often quote L. Ron Hubbard, but he did say one thing I agree with.  “I don’t care if their skins are pink as long as their money is green”.

Drink what you want to, buy/short stocks that you want to.  Every company out there sells to some group I disagree with.  I am sure the same is true for you.

Long story short, I am short BUD, but not because they sell to gays.  I am short BUD because they disrespected their customers on both sides of the spectrum, and this is not a sustainable business practice.

Does not reflect USA, just Bud Light:

However add associated brands loss
It's more like down a combined 40%

I didn't say they're going broke. Just putting some perspective to the raw p&g stock price change which looks less impressive when compared to the market.

And obviously the change % is dependent on the exact dates you choose. The articles thst popped up for me about the Gillette snafu were all early Jan 2019, so I used Jan 7 2019 to yesterday to calc the S&P. 2549 to 4137 is +62% change. That doesn't include dividend reinvestments either, same as the P&G calc. Maybe my time frame is off.

So you're saying that P&G stock is up about 59% since Jan 2019? Underperforming the market over a 5-year period doesn't seem like a big win to me. I'm not a financial wizard though.

S&P 500 is up like 65% over the same time frame.

The effect of this boycott is like sinking the flagship aircraft carrier of an empire.  No it’s not going to take out the king himself but some people here seem awfully concerned about pointing that out.

Just take the win.

The investigation is still going STRONG and has provided info on the financial details behind the Wed report from Congress.

The NFL stopped taking a knee
MLB is a fucking joke and viewership is down and so is in-person attendance at most parks. (part of this is covid-aftermath and part of it is people can't afford to spend $10 on a hot dog)

And it blew over, conservatives went right back to it.  Where am I wrong?  Viewership was falling prior to their woke BS.

And you think that investigation matters?  Suddenly any of it will matter?  We all know nothing will happen and we all know we're all going to sit back and take it.

I cringe when guys who claim to be Maga ultra conservatives talk about the big sports ball game last night.   They don't care that sportsball wants them dead or in prison.
I vote with my dollars and have given up many products I used and enjoyed for 20+ years over woke shit.

Lol not at all.

But I'm also not disillusioned to the thought that we are winning this. This is a MINOR, tiny setback. 5 billion in sales is about 2 billion in profits. They give far, far more than that away every year in dividends alone. This is basically petty cash to a company this large.

It's not going to get them to say they were wrong. The issue isn't "them" in their eyes, it is "us" and the sooner we understand that the better off we will be. Stop high fiving and realize this ISNT what winning looks like. This is a tiny drop in the bucket. Literally.

It takes way way more boycotting for far, far longer.

And as a previous poster tried to counter, which was to name one thing the right has boycotted successfully, the answer is absolutely nothing. Everyone thought we were winning when we boycotted the NFL. It is still by far the most popular and most watched sport.

Any illusion of winning is a facade. I'm simply saying we need to keep this in proper context and not blow this out of proportion in terms of success.

That's all.

I noticed that too. Sucks. I'm mostly a craft beer guy, but do (or used to) enjoy a Corona with lime and salt every once in a while.

Some craft breweries make Mexican-style lagers so I'll just get seek those out instead from now on.

Signing legislation for home brewing was the 2nd best thing Jimmy Carter did as president.

I consider it moral to make beer, why wouldn’t it be?

Dylan Mulvaney admits to 'having trouble sleeping' since Bud Light backlash erupted - and wonders 'what the psychological effects of being called a man thousands of times a day' will be
Dylan Mulvaney said since the Bud Light partnership she has struggled to sleep
She also said alienating so many people taught her to care less about judgement

Mulvaney suggested as the trans debate in the US has escalated, transphobia has become increasingly blatant, resulting in an inhospitable 'Wild West' for trans people.
