I doubt it goes to the SC. Only 2% of cases appealed to the SC are picked up. View Quote Either the 2nd will be shut down or it will be upheld. If either side has a clear majority the court will hear one of these cases and the decision made. Right now the way things are stacking up I think we will likely win. But it is political calculus. |

Ok, I need to do my part and since I have to go to the post office before they close today anyways...
and also because I have a pair of USGI 30 round mags in the truck of my car I’ve been too lazy to take out for months now... First person from CA to IM me gets them for for $0.01 PayPal (so you can say that they were “sold before 5pm”). EDIT: Gone to SteveSatch ! |

I'd love to have a spy camera inside the Brady HQ right now. Anti gun groups have to be absolutely spazzing internally. Their biggest, most obedient puppet (CA) blinked for the first time in 20+ years and in a week the state is flooded with evil mags and the common use argument just got a whole lot stronger

I can't blame them. They really stepped up by signing that Declaration for Chuck. They know they are being watched closely and just want to be extra careful.

Negative outcome -
If the 9th Circuit overturns the injunctions, all high capacity magazines have to be disposed of immediately, as in right NOW. They were supposed to already be gone. Where does that leave us, how do we proceed? Positive outcome - What happens if the 9th Circuit agrees with injunction and unconstitutionality? Do California's single-party overlords take the issue to the Supreme Court? Do California's single-party overlords give up on this issue? |

Who will the State select to be arrested and taken before an unfriendly local court on charges of "importation" and "illegal possession"? |

If someone told me a month ago that on a day when I feel anything but good about the future of the right to keep and bear arms in this country I would find myself drawing strength and inspiration from a thread about California gun owners and PMAGs going out of stock, I'd have petitioned to have the person committed to a mental institution.

The cutoff is in 4 1/2 hours and I still feel compelled to buy more mags even though I already have more than I will ever need in my lifetime and probably two additional lifetimes.
