The court will have to hear an AW/mag ban case sooner or later.

Either the 2nd will be shut down or it will be upheld. If either side has a clear majority the court will hear one of these cases and the decision made.

Right now the way things are stacking up I think we will likely win. But it is political calculus.

Ok, I need to do my part and since I have to go to the post office before they close today anyways...

and also because I have a pair of USGI 30 round mags in the truck of my car I’ve been too lazy to take out for months now...

First person from CA to IM me gets them for for $0.01 PayPal (so you can say that they were “sold before 5pm”).

Negative outcome -

If the 9th Circuit overturns the injunctions, all high capacity magazines have to be disposed of immediately, as in right NOW.  They were supposed to already be gone.  Where does that leave us, how do we proceed?

Positive outcome -

What happens if the 9th Circuit agrees with injunction and unconstitutionality?  Do California's single-party overlords take the issue to the Supreme Court?  Do California's single-party overlords give up on this issue?

Ideally the 9th upholds Judge Pmag's decision and declared the ban unconstitutional and the a Supreme Court declines an appeal from the AG.

No, we want the Supreme Court to hear the case and say magazines are a protected part of owning semiautomatic firearms. Otherwise,  MD, NY, MA, NJ,  etc will be stuck with their bans.

Anything other than a black and white decision sounds like "legislating from the bench" - crafting the law of the land from bits and pieces of legislation, as preferred by whoever writes the next decision.

To be fair, I still have a strong dislike of the state of California, the political influence it has on the country, the social influence it has on the country, the effect of its electoral college votes, both of its senators, and several of its residents.

That hasn't changed. The only thing that has changed is the number of Californians that I like has grown exponentially.

That seems logical, but guaranteed there are more than a few people that are scrambling since the deadline was announced. Wasn't pressing enough to partake early due to there being plenty of time...
