Embarrassing, but with a few deletions and additions I'm pretty much here. In my defense, I've kept (and resoled many times) some of the boots for over 40 years.

Yes.  Multiple boots (different needs), cleats, soft shoes for casual wear, dressier shoes for work/suits, 'slides' for around the house, etc.

Is this a "I have two pairs of shoes, one for work, one for church, LIKE A MAN" thread?

Running shoes
Hiking shoes
Walking shoes
House shoes
Work boots
Hunting boots
Riding boots
Several of a few of these. I've never owned so many shoes in my life. My wife see's stuff she thinks i'll like and buys them for me. She's pretty good at gift buying.

Number of pair of boots for working here around the property.
Number of steel toed boots for when I go out in the field for work.
Casual shoes.
Dress shoes. Real dress in black and brown, semi dress in black and brown.
Cowboy boots that some places subs in for dress shoes.
Hiking and backpacking boots, two pair.

Adds up. I don't do crocs but often wear slip on sketchers around outside if it's not raining. Have a couple of pair.

Yes, because I never throw anything away - I have clapped out vans from 1989, for example.  I also have snow boots inherited from a dead relative (no snow here), and a handmade pair of boots that belonged to my grandfather (we have the same sized feet).

Yes, if you include the footwear for all of the various activities I'm involved in it is likely 30+ pairs. Ski boots (touring and resort), ice climbing boots, mountaineering boots, double mountaineering boots (for high altitude climbing), dive booties, running shoes, rock climbing shoes, approach shoes, various work boots, cycling shoes, etc it all adds up quick.

Every day sneakers
Red Wing boots
Crocs for around the house
Old junk sneakers for mowing the lawn
Dress shoes for funerals and weddings
Ice fishing boots
Hunting boots
Motocross boots
Street bike boots

I think that's it...Work boots and sneakers are 99% of what I ever wear.

Hell, I have seven pairs of flip flops.

Daily shoes that get replaced every six months to a year, current pair gets shuffled to "house shoes", old house shoes gets shuffled to trash.

Two pairs of boots, lightweight and heavy.

One pair of flip flops, only used when travelling, basically shower shoes.

Running shoes that get almost no use these days.

So that makes six.

Back when I was still riding, I'd also have track boots, touring boots, and lighter summer boots.

Warm weather hunting boots
Medium weight hunting boots
Cold weather hunting boots
Pack boots
Steel toe work boots
Square toe boots for whatever
Nice cowboy boots for dressing up a bit
Nice sneaks for whatever
Old sneaks for yardwork
Sandals for pool/beach
Merrell hikers for hiking
Fancy black leather shoes for formal events
Motorcycle shoes.

My wife gives me crap about it even though she has more than I do and I actually wear all of mine in a rotation (task dependent) where she buys a pair and wears them once or twice ever.

Then a pair of running/gym shoes, two pairs of steel toe boots, black and brown dress shoes, a pair of Cowboy boots, 2 pairs of Doc Martens in black and green, a pair of Cabela's hiking boots, a couple pairs of kayaking water shoes. Probably more I can't think off. My hallway closet is entirely shoes

I have 11 pairs of footwear.
But since I retired, I now only wear 4 or 5 of them depending on what I'm doing.
