Yes.  Granted most are still nib replacements.
Only a few brands of boots don't hurt my feet/fit right, so I buy them on clearance to stockpile.

Hell yeah!  I have about 20 pairs of various shoes/boots still new in box that I picked up for crazy prices over the last few years.  When I wear a pair out, it generally goes to lawn/yard duty and I rotate in a new pair.

Just an example - I got several pairs of $100-150 Nike running shoes for like $10-20 a few years ago on a black Friday deal.  Why would I not grab them at that price?

Buy cheap, stack deep. $67 on sale versus $130 full price and in wide.

Here's some of them.

I thought I was the only one who bought cheap and stacked deep. I watch for a sale and buy a couple of pairs at a time of the same walking shoes I've worn for 25-years.

You know what they stay, if the shoe fits ... buy pairs in every color.

Well over a dozen.  My largest variation are different hiking and hunting boots for different weather and conditions including retired worn-out pairs waiting for their turn to become outdoor work boots.

Yeah, and it's a waste. Back to when we got married, my wife seems to have a compulsion to buy me clothes and shoes.

Of course, if she didn't do that I'd look like a slob with a very limited wardrobe.

My wife feels the same.  Why wouldn't I buy two pair they were 75% off and I like them!

Over a decade ago I got a few pairs of Bates USMC Rat desert boots for just under $30 a pair shipped from LAPG.  I wore out one pair and am on my second now.  I still have at least another new in box.

With that said It can get to a point .  Realistically I don't need to buy any boots for at least the next decade.

I have a lot more than 7 - pairs - however, it is probable that  about 7 pairs are in use.

I have 4 sets of crocs that are usable.  2 Good walking shoes, and one good quality hiking boot...

Yup.

I have tons of work boots for various situations.

Plus, its common for me to go from a corporate boardroom, to a casual (yet important) dinner, to the field (mud, SNOW, shit), to the beach in a week's time. That's a lot of shoes right there.

1 pair of casual slip on “hey dude style”shoes

1 pair of reef flip flops.

And probably a few other pairs I can’t recall.
