I’m not going to bother digging up links because we’ve all seen the lawsuits and accusations posted here. Do you continue to trust the safety of carrying your SIG handgun if you’re currently carrying a P320 or P365 variant?

nope

A guy I know had a P320 discharge on him when dropped... he sold it and I haven't touched one since.  No issue with other SIGs that I know of.

Carry both all day every day.

So yes.

I was all set to answer "yes" until I got to the end of the OP.  Mostly because my Sigs are a 1911 and a Mk25.  And they're plenty safe.

Yes.

Two P320 and a P365X.

I couldn't even trust the extractor on my SIG, let alone the safety. Sold that pos and bought a hellcat. 2 actually.

I have two P365 pistols and I trust them both.

I don't trust the safety on any handgun.

I do not own a P320, but I do own two P365s. And many other P series and 1911 SIGs. I trust them now and will continue to do so.

No problems with my P320 x-carry or my P226 Legion SAO, or my P220 Legion SAO, or my P938 sports13, or my P226 X-Five Tactical.

I had 3 P320's, all purchased prior to the drop-safe issue being admitted to exist.

One put a hole in my bedroom wall, so I had them all repaired and subsequently sold them.

Yes, I've carried and shot a 365XL for 2 years.

I only have one sig, the P229 legion. Yes I trust it.

The safety on my 229RElite saved me from a potentially disastrous ND.  Wont do that again ever again....

My 226? Yes, it's a legacy model.

A current 365 or 320?

no.

I don’t trust the mechanic safety on any firearm. The best safety is between your ears.

I’ve got a 365 or 365XL and trust them enough to point it at my dick almost every day. Hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to point the 365 Macro at my dick soon too.

I don't have any reason to distrust my 365.

I’ve got a P365XL pointed out my dick right now.  In fact, I don’t think there’s been a day that I haven’t had one pointed at my dick in the past couple years at least.

I’ve heard about the claims regarding the P3 20. Why is the 365 series included in this? Did I miss something?

Not an actual safety device on the firearm, but do you trust it not to go off while simply carrying it and do you trust it to go bang when you intentionally pull the trigger?
Link Posted: 4/20/2023 12:46:04 PM EDT
[#36]
I wouldn't trust any Sig Pistol made in the last 10 years or so.  I have had two that fell part quickly, neither fired unexpectedly though.  Just like many corporations they cheapened their product, raised the price and the upper management got richer and the consumer gets crap.

Sig pistols are like Metallica albums, buy the ones created in the 80's and ignore the rest.

Zero issues with mine.

Of course, mine has the flat trigger not the curved one everyone seems to have issues with.

There are no actual safety devices on them?

Yes because I understand how each of the internal safeties work because I am not retarded.

Trust my Glocks too because of above.

The safety of your...

or

The safety on your...

Not surprisingly, half of GD can't tell the difference.

Been carrying the 938 for six years and bought a 229 SAO about eight months ago. Spent a good part of the day at the range with them yesterday. Hell yes I trust 'em. Pathetic to watch the "my plastic pistol is better than your plastic pistol" wars online.

I dont have any P series sig pistols, but I would be hesitant to carry any of them AIWB, thats for sure.

Neither of my Sig pistols have a safety.

Doesn't affect me.

I don't own any Sigs.

The mechanical issues are probably real but overblown. I just don't like these guns very much.
