I don't buy handguns with manual safeties. Except for 1911's and Ruger Mark IIs.

I carry both daily and neither one have taken a shot at me. However, I never carry a striker fired with one in the chamber.

I have too many to turn back now, I went a little 320 nuts there for a bit.

I carry a Glock or a CR920 Shadow Systems daily.  Depending on concealment level.

I carry my P320 on duty for the last 5 years. I carry my P365 everyday off duty.

I was all set to answer "yes" until I got to the end of the OP.  Mostly because my Sigs are a 1911 and a Mk25.  And they're plenty safe.

You know how forums are. Mine has been 100%. I don’t have a P320 and won’t buy one.

My trigger bar spring sheared in half, only found one half. Replacements were out of stock many pieces online but managed to get one, but I switched to carrying a shield plus since I like the trigger better.

Mine have never failed to perform flawlessly.  They are the good-old tried and true hammer fired metal frame guns tho.

We don't need no steeenkin' safeties.

I don't carry a P320 or even own one.
I have owned a few (they shot very well) but like any striker fired it is more likely to have an ND drawing and re-holstering
The term "Glock Leg" is well earned. But it is the fact it is a striker that gave it that rep, is what all other striker fired owners should understand

I personally feel the DA/SA Sigs, AKA classic Sigs are simply superior and much safer weapons (Other DA/SA no safety makes as well)

For now, we have so many great options to choose from and which ever way you go is what is right for you

I carried Glocks for years until Sig released the P365, at which time I sold my Glocks and went all in on Sig P365/P320s.

I treat them the same way I treated my Glocks and I don't have any issues.

Properly fitting kydex holsters are imperative. Multi-fit plastic holsters for WMLs, leather holsters, fabric pocket holsters, etc. are no go for me.

Then explain how people having NDs has anything to do with whether you would trust one in your post that I quoted (and you omitted)

I’m not going to bother digging up links because we’ve all seen the lawsuits and accusations posted here. Do you continue to trust the safety of carrying your SIG handgun if you’re currently carrying a P320 or P365 variant?

My M17 has a manual safety. It’s not my carry gun but I keep it loaded and chambered with the manual safety on. It’s in my car all the time so I’d rather have piece of mind. I don’t fully trust it tbh or care enough to disprove these claims so safety remains on.

False. Because there was no mandatory consumer protection recall there are unknown thousands of Sig 320s out there that are not drop safe.

The unconverted P320s have the heavy looking rounded trigger. The newer P320s have a thinner rounded trigger, as do the converted ones. Unless of course the trigger has been replaced with an aftermarket trigger like Apex.

No demographics seem to be available as to the people who have claimed "uncommanded" discharges. The odds on favorite is primarily supposedly trained users who effed up their handling. Remember Glocks issues? Most of them were proven to have been caused by poor gun handling and inadequate training. SIG doesn't get the same presumption of innocence until guilt is proven type courtesy. There have also been reports of departments reusing their original Glock holsters with SIGs to save money.

Didn't vote. I don't own a Sig. The 320 doesn't float my boat. Walther and Glock fill my double stack itch.

I don't think 320s are inherently unsafe. I do know several people who have had various warranty issues with 320 variants. Seems like there some issues there.

Recently I have been looking for something to replace my M&P Shield. In theory the 365 checks all the boxes. I haven't heard of any major issues with 365 variants other than the finish.

I can't over that feeling. Where there is smoke there is fire. I can't see paying another $100 for a gun made by a company with issues. I don't trust their quality control. I'd rather give up a little bit of capacity for something I know just works.

I'll be buying a Glock 43.

There’s always a P365 in my pocket and a P320 in my console. If a P320 was going to go off without a trigger pull, metro Detroit roads would’ve done it to mine by now.

Cant believe he hasn't chimed in.

I trust the safety of my Sig guns. Though some of the parts being made in India has me questioning reliability.
